Beautiful island just off the coast of Tenby, Wales. Accessible by a 30 min boat journey. The island is impeccable, with monastery located in the centre and a light house a short walk away. The monks make perfumes and chocolate on the island and can be purchased from a shop on the island. The island includes a fantastic quiet beach, with white, soft sand and a number of walking trails. Amazing place.

This is one of the most beautiful islands in the UK we have been to, the woodland walk was enjoyable, sitting having a picnic near the lighthouse overlooking the ocean was stunning. The monastery was awe inspiring and the beach was great to walk the dog on, we will be back in the future 👍😁

This really is a beautifully tranquil island, looked after by on-site monks who reside in the nearby monastery (closed to the public). The boat ride from Tenby is simple enough - paid on the day (£15.00 each adult), with a boat ride of just shy of 20 minutes. The island itself has beautiful woodland walks (saw red squirrels!) and coastal paths, which lead up to a rustic, yet fully functional, lighthouse. There are also onsite galleries, a gift shop and cafe. Overall, a charming visit which I would fully recommend. Even if you aren’t spiritual, it provides a nice essence of peace with the world.

A pilgramage from the port choppy crossing then you come to a place lost in time. You wont see or hear the monks anywhere. The film portrays the sense of this quiet retreat from the business happening accross the water. Even the pheasants come to eat my sandwiches of cheese purchased in their café. I had to guard them from the bullish seagulls who snatch the bites away from t he beaks of the pheasants.

It's ok for walkers. I personally found it quite boring. Not much to see there. You can't go in the monastery, which was disapointing. There's a gift shop & cafe.

Nice boat ride from tenby no expensive, we visited most areas on the brochure , however the Chocolate factory wasn't there !! ,food prices expensive. You need a full day to explore everything. Still good value for money

Small island just off of Tenby. It was quite a choppy ride on a boat over to the island, maybe a 20 minute journey. The Island is inhabited by monks so it is a peaceful place with woodland walks and beaches. There are a few churches and a pretty impressive monastery building that doesn't appear to ever open to the public. There is also a lighthouse and a reasonable large cafe.

Caldey Island not the actual Abbey. Really nice place, we all enjoyed the day there. Just a short boat trip from Tenby harbour.

Beautiful island - the monastery and churches on the island are well maintained and functional. A very peaceful place with a lot of history and some rare wildlife such as black swans and red squirrels.

What a beautiful building. Unable to go inside. But still impressive from the outside.

Amazing place. Very peaceful, a lovely island to walk around and explore. Lots of benches to sit and have lunch.
