My plate may look menacing but it was pretty damn tasty. The pastry were larger than my face! 10/10 for taste and quantity. Nice farm shop and friendly staff!

Came for the all day breakfast and stayed for the animals . Great tasting food with a big selection in a cozy farmhouse setting. Kids loved the animals outside especially the “Mohawk Duck” their words lol

I loved the teapots! Huge and hug-worthy! My Tunusian lamb was delicious. All the food is home cooked to order, simple and unpretentious. Look out the window, and you will see sheep, guinea pigs and tortoises! Look up, and you will see all the rosettes and awards the farm has won.

Great place to stop off and buy some take away treats Can recommend the steak and ale pasty and the cider apple cake! Would love to bring our grandson here when he’s older he loves all things farm related

Disappointing food for a place that wasn't that busy. Order wasn't correct and despite challenging this twice, the young waitress wasn't interested in resolving. Surroundings nice though and a good range of produce on offer. Outside there is a small collection of animals to see including free range chickens.

Had the best sausage roll and cappuccino on a sunny morning. My pup also enjoyed all the left overs that May left behind! He also got to meet the ponies and guinea pigs at the back.

Lovely visit yesterday with a friend down visiting from Hampshire, very busy but service was excellent, all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. Varied menu, we had toasted sandwiches cream tea and cider apple cake, all fresh and delicious. Weather not great so looking forward to retuning very soon to sit outside and enjoy stunning views

The staff are always welcoming, polite and helpful. The food is freshly cooked and they always use locally sourced produce. The menu is not overly extensive but, this is a good thing as it allows you to focus on the food you want. There is always a specials board with some stunningly tasty dishes. The recently rearranged cake counter really draws you into some very naughty but nice, home made cakes. Goes without saying, cream tea should always be considered as they are bloody lovely and good value for money. The shop is quaint and fairly priced as most farm shops are. Ask the staff as they will cater to most pallets. Defo worth a visit even for a coffee and the place is child friendly and they allow well-behaved dogs in (wipe paws as they enter).

A lovely gem of a place. They sell almost everything and have a lovely cafe. Very friendly and helpful staff. But, would you believe they had never heard of Sam Sparrow? (Look up the Blackberry Farm children's books)(•‿•) Ignore the muddy car park. There had been a lot of rain and it's worth slightly dirty shoes.

Superb. If you are looking for a real countryside farm shop then this is the place to visit. The shelves are stocked with lots of delicious food as well as toys and home decor. The cafe and food is simply wonderful. Great prices and portions. There are a few farm animals out the back that can be seen whilst enjoying your coffee by the indoor log fire in the cafe. They have a beautiful farm dog called May who is very friendly. Would highly recommended a visit to this farm shop/cafe you won't regret it :)

I had one of the best cooked breakfasts for a long time, with proper local sausages. We love their home baked products - pasties, sausage rolls, cakes,... The only thing they could do with investing in is a proper coffee machine - hint, hint!

👍👍 We came yesterday for a roast, there was 10 of us and the staff were great and did a big table up for us. The roast was delicious and service was brilliant as always. Thank you for accommodating a noisy bunch of kids (and adults) we really appreciate it! 😊

👍 Local feel cafe with great taste! The “La Marzocvo” coffee machine was being serviced, so I could not get to taste the Union coffee from this top of the range, hand made coffee/espresso machine. However the Pastel de Nata was wonderfully fresh and there were lots of other temptations on offer. Real...

👍👍 Very good place to get brunch or lunch. Have been here for coffee and cake a few times, their cakes are always very good, especially their carrot cake. Had a very good caesar salad, and my friends had cooked English breakfasts, of which they do a very good veggie or vegan option. Food and coffee was...

👍👍 A very cozy coffee shop. We stayed in Appledore for a couple of weeks a went there often for coffee. We love their cappuccinos, flat whites and mochas. They have a good selection of plant-based milks for those who prefer it. I found the medium sized coffee HUGE so I used to opt for the small. I also...
