Amazing day out for kids of all ages. Fun watching the aeroplanes and helicopters. Cafe on site very good cakes etc.... And staff are very welcoming and friendly would definitely recommend. Just grab a cuppa, slice of cake and seat outside watching the planes , helicopters and world go by in such lovely countryside.

It was a 14th birthday surprise for my daughter. The staff at the school were very polite and gave very clear instructions. It was my daughter’s first time but she enjoyed every moment (so did my husband and son as they were the passengers). The instructor (Jason) was very polite and soft spoken. He throughly explained everything and then boarded the plane for the full 60minutes lesson. My daughter had the control most of the time even at taking off and landing. The school even booked the trial lesson at the time which suited us, so I would 100% recommend this school as I wasn’t disappointed at any point.

A lovely airport, friendly staff, lovely food at the cafe, overall fabulous atmosphere. I highly recommend Linx Design (for all your website needs) and Air Midwest for all your flying enquiries. Great services from them both.

Had a flying experience with my sister at this airport which was a belated birthday gift. The airfield is great and it's awesome to be able to have a walk around and soak in the atmosphere. There's a café selling food and drinks and it's a great spot to watch all the action of light aircraft including planes and helicopters make their ascents and descents. Enjoyed the flying experience and the flight instructor was very engaging and helpful. My only issue is that there aren't many people of colour visiting or working at the airport which can be a bit uncomfortable. This place needs to be more accessible to all and maybe this place could be buzzing with activity as there's so much opportunity for the airport to make money from visitors either coming for a wander or booking a flying experience. Aircraft and flying needs to be more accessible to people of colour so they can experience these wonderful moments too!

What a very special place this is with the free viewing of light aircraft, the amazing cafe and the antiques centre. It just makes for a lovely visit. The service in the cafe at the tower is truly first class, the food is superb ! A large car park on site. What’s not to like. We had beautiful sunshine today as well. Visited with our dogs and family. It’s a super dog friendly site too..

One hour flight experience, brilliant pilot, I had control of the aircraft for much longer than I expected. High concentration needed...... Great experience.

Lovely area to sit and watch the small planes and helicopters take off and land. Safe for the children as all enclosed. Nice little cafe with pleasant and friendly staff.

My first visit here today but will be back again in the not too distant future. My granddaughter who is 4 loved watching the small aeroplanes take off and land. Great afternoon.

Always a great place for Aircraft watching and flying with many various flying schools. Just pop into any office and book yourself a air experience flight. Surrounded by countryside. Something to tick off your bucket list.

Came for a helicopter flight which was absolutely brilliant. The airport is easy to get to, and the parking is free. Felt very welcome and safe here. There's also an antiques and collectable shop on site which is great to look around even if it does feel haunted in places lol.
