Both children have had group lesson at Smart Swim since they were 2 years old (now 5 & 7 years). All the instructors are full of smiles and encouragement and know every child by name and they quickly build a trusting rapport with every child. The lessons are grouped according to ability however each instructor ensures their approach is individualised to every child when it’s their turn to swim. The instructors are quick to get to know each child to know what approach and style suits them best in order for them to achieve their best. Throughout the year every child will complete their distance badges and build stamina, water safety and life saving and progress in a variety of swimming strokes whilst having fun in the water and build confidence. The pool is always spotless with great water toys to encourage swimming development through play.

Both of our girls love their swimming lessons with Smart Swim! They both began when they were babies and are getting on really well. There is a focus from very early on with turning around and holding onto the side of the pool which gives some confidence that the child could save themselves if they needed to which is excellent. The small class sizes mean the children get all the attention they need too. I couldn't recommend Smart Swim enough. All of the staff at Smart Swim are genuinely superb. Really lovely pool. We hired it privately for an hours swim. The pool is a good size, heated and kept lovely and clean. It was easy to find and Julia responded quickly to any questions I had before booking. We will definitely be booking to go again! Highly recommended!

My children both started coming to Smart Swim as babies. Taking them as a baby was such a lovely bonding time and gave them water confidence from a young age. The staff were so accommodating, enabling me to have one child poolside whilst I was in the water with the other. Now, my children are older and have enjoyed after school lessons. The quality of teaching is so impressive! It is incredible to have four adults in the pool with them. I am impressed with the skills that they have gained. They are now well versed in water safety and are becoming confident swimmers. All of the teachers here are fantastic. The facilities are excellent with easy parking and a stunning sensory garden for them to explore while they wait to come in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Smart Swim!

Iv been taking my two children to smart swim since babies, they are now 6 and 4 and still love their lessons especially their teachers. The swimming pool is a good size and the changing rooms are spacious and clean. The teachers are all lovely, friendly and are very good with the children. My daughter who wasn’t great in the pool with me is now on her own with an instructor and is doing so much better. Not only are they taught how to swim, safety in the water is also demonstrated. At the end of term the children have games in the pool which is great fun.

Have been going to Smartswim many years. Excellent teachers helped my autistic son to learn to swim and now use for private hire. So clean, warm and spacious, great for a quiet family swim.

We love this place! Our daughters (baby and 2 1/2 yr old) are learning to love the water and swim. The lessons are fun with great and varied resources that the girls love. The teachers are great and make lessons fun and the confidence the girls are developing in the water is wonderful. We also use the pool for private sessions, booking is easy to do and such a lovely place to spend time as a family.

I have been going to smart swim since my oldest was just 4 months old, she is now 4. Smart swim have worked wonders with my oldest helping overcome fears of the water and learnt to enjoy the water. As my oldest now says she is like a mermaid. My youngest also joined smart swim when she was just 4 months old and she really loves the water too. The teachers at smart swim are so kind, caring and patient and take in every need of every child. Heather has worked wonders with my oldest and I will be forever grateful for what she has done for her as it so nice to see her enjoying the water. My youngest is also just a little water baby and loves every second of the water. If you are looking to send your babies or toddlers to a swim class then I can't recommend the classes at smart swim enough.

My lo has been swimming with smart swim since 4 months old, currently now 5! The teachers are all amazing and really taylor to each child’s needs. The sensory garden is a hit after the lesson with my lo to burn of the last of the energy! The facilities are always clean and tidy. All round a great school where results can been easily seen!!

Recently had some one to one adult swimming lessons here to improve my swimming and breathing. A positive experience and I have come away with lots of information to practice further. Julia and all staff are pleasant and positive. The pool is immaculately clean and warm. Thank you so much! Once I have practiced on my own for a bit I hope to have some more lessons in the future.
