We both had an amazing pheasant time, Elaine and Chris are both amazing people and we was made to feel welcome the moment we met, The lodge was immaculate and we was greeted with a lovely cheese board and bottle of wine 🍷 The Hot tub was an amazing experience just being able to relax and enjoy peace and quiet, nothing was too much trouble for Elaine and Chris, we even got a lovely breakfast hamper for the following morning. I'd 100% recommend staying and we'll definitely be back soon enough 🏠🏠

Stayed overnight for our 20th wedding anniversary hoping for a relaxing child/dog free stay. We were greeted by Elaine who set out afternoon tea for us on arrival which was delicious and plentiful and we had wine and cheeseboard that had us full enough not to need to eat out. Plenty of walks on the doorstep to local pubs. The lodge is like home from home, so relaxed and the hot tub was excellent, the views and sunset was amazing. Elaine is an amazing host, nothing too much trouble and has some great stories. Slept like log in the comfiest bed ever and woke to an excellent full cooked English. Highly highly recommend staying here for some downtime and to be well and truly looked after. Thanks Elaine (Chris was away but I'm sure if he's as attentive as Elaine as a host he'd be getting 5⭐️)

Had a great night at Pheasant Lodge. So relaxing, we quite easily zoned out and forgot about everything whilst having a drink in the hot tub. But what makes the place special is Elaine and Chris two fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We will be back again in the winter, we are looking forward to using the hot tub in the cold and curling up in front of the log burner in the lodge. Thank you again Carl & Alison x.

We had a lovely warm welcome from Elaine and Chris, the hosts. The Lodge was spotless and everything we needed was provided. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, just relaxing and listening to the bird song whilst looking over the fields with a glass in hand. We have travelled extensively throughout the UK but have never been so welcomed and so looked after anywhere else.

Incredible little get away for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We just wanted a little escape from our delightful children for a reasonable price! Our stay surpassed what we expected and then some! We was greeted by Elaine and Chris warmly, with everything prepared and more! The extra touches included in the price where such a lovely bonus. The food, service and cleanliness was exceptionally. You don't visit here for the location, however when you're in the lodge, you really could be in the middle of the no where, you just paid a quarter of the price! Absolutely lovely place with the best hosts you could wish for. Elaine and Chris are so nice, friendly,welcoming and nothings too much trouble. The lodge is spotless clean and it contains everything you could possibly need on you're stay. The hot tub was already warmed up for us on our arrival, and what a treat it was. Breakfast was amazing. Just back from another amazing night at Pheasant Lodge. From the minute you arrive to the time you leave Elaine and Chris are amazing hosts. Nothing is to much trouble. A relax in the hot tub then to be greeted with a delicious cheese board. A wonderful sleep and an amazing breakfast. Heading back very soon. Thanks again.

Well where do I start. Having returned home this morning from a very relaxing stay making memories to treasure forever. The whole stay was was unbelievable from start to finish and we felt very relaxed the whole time. A delightful cheese board on arrival, tasty home baked treats awaiting in the kitchen, a botanical gin and tonic in characteristic classic caravan named Angel, outstanding breakfast, the list goes on. Both Elaine and Chris were amazing hosts who go above and beyond, their hospitality is exceptional. Nobody would believe this little touch of paradise is only on the doorstep.They have created something very special. It was that enjoyable we booked our return visit before leaving. Thank you once again for everything and we cant wait to see you again soon x

Another gorgeous stay at Pheasant Lodge. Our very own hidden gem and home away from home. Elaine and Chris looked after us so well again from start to finish and had honestly thought of everything. We had a lovely bottle of red wine and cheeseboard on arrival, an afternoon tea full of delicious warm treats as well as some amazing craft gin in the hot tub while watching the fireworks. The cooked breakfast this morning was delicious too. Thank you so much, we can’t recommend your lodge enough to anyone in need of an unwind and relaxing time away.

We had the most amazing stay at Pheasant Lodge last weekend, from the moment we arrived Elaine and Chris made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The lodge was beautifully decorated, clean and very cosy. The cheeseboard and wine was an additional special touch, and so tasty! The hot tub was immaculate and we enjoyed having the use of it. Breakfast was perfect, we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day…Elaine definitely made sure we were full up! We already can’t wait to visit again, what an absolute gem of a place! Had the most perfect stay on Saturday celebrating our friends 60th birthday. We were greeted by the perfect host's Elaine & Chris who can't do enough for you. On our arrival there was afternoon tea & wine waiting for us. Hot tub was all ready & our robes hanging up. We thoroughly enjoyed chilling in the hot tub surrounded by beautiful scenery. So relaxing. After a great sleep we were served a delicious breakfast with so much choice. Thank you Elaine & Chris for everything. Highly recommend & can't wait to come back xx

I have never visited somewhere where you are made to feel so welcome, Elaine and Chris are amazing hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect in every way. Pheasant Lodge is stunning, from the hot tub, beautiful garden and amazing views, right down to the special little touches that have been added. There is plenty of food and drink served to you and it is delicious. I can't wait to go back soon.

What a retreat! Friends booked for the whole day and evening for my birthday and it was sublime. All my stress and anxieties totally soothed away for a day. I could NOT think of a better thing to do. Elaine was an amazing host - genuinely LOVELY and thoughtful person. The lodge was spotlessly clean, warm, and well appointed and the views and hot tub were to die for. Maybe next time I'll add in some treatments too - because I'm sure I'll be going back!
