I was delighted to discover this charming coffee shop. The walls are covered with paintings by the owner, coffee really hot and a very warm welcome. My only drawback as a disabled person was the long walk from the carpark and quite steep steps to enter. I did not ask if there was an accessible toilet but hope there will be as I would like to go again.

Absolutely love this place. Great artwork, yummy hot chocolate and cake. I even got to say hello to their chickens. Was definitely the highlight ❤️ will be back again for sure. If I could give 10 ✨ I would. Thank you Google for suggesting this little gem.

I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want to tell anyone how good it is so I can save it for myself! The barn is gorgeous, the ambience was lovely and the coffee and cake were amazing! I took my 2 little girls with me (6&1) and the staff were so helpful with a high chair and pencils and paper for colouring. The toilet was lovely! I will definitely be back 😊

What a gem of a place! Just perfect for a cuppa on a rainy day. Parking just a wee bit down the road from the building but caused no problems. Didn't eat this time but will be back to try some of the yummy looking cakes on display!

Like this place, coffee excellent, cake the best, Paintings very good,to view, you can park the other side of the house recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Popped in there today as the concept of a gallery and cafe sounded perfect. The coffee was very tasty and there was a great selection of articles for sale. The hosts Carlos & Carol were very accommodating - spent time to have a chat, and they’ve done a remarkable renovation on the barn! The atmosphere was very chilled and the cakes were amazing too!! It really is a hidden gem and you must stop by to take advantage of what a lovely place it truly is 👍👌

Fantastic place where a local artist has a coffee shop on Fri and Sat. Great coffee and cake and a stunning location where her works are on display/sale. A real hidden gem.

A few days ago, walking around the area, The Barn at Friends Barn caught my attention. Today being my partner’s birthday, it was the perfect day to treat him and discover the hidden treasure that this place is, and just a few minutes away from home. We just had excellent lattes with 2 delicious cakes, mine was a raspberry and quince one, their vegan option today, it was a real delight. We couldn't resist leaving the place without try one of their salty options, then we enjoyed another excellent lattes & a shared cheese bun accompanied by a homemade onion & apple chutney that gave it a very special touch. All this in a room surrounded by works of painting art, artisan products and in a family, cozy, quiet and unbeatable atmosphere. It’s definitely a hidden treasure. Thank you very much! Rosana & Ian

What a lovely unexpected find. The sweet and savoury offerings were delicious. My Cappuccino’s were lovely too. Our first visit was on Friday 17th November 2023 to the Barn and it was a delight. Lovely, friendly owners who took the time to tell us a bit of the history surrounding the barn and farm. Definitely will be returning again soon.

Love it here. Wonderful service, and the cakes are delicious. My children love coming too, they love all the paintings and are given some pencils and paper to create their own. Thank you

I only gave it 5 because 10 stars aren't available! The venue is stunning, the coffee and tea was delicious and the carrot cake was heavenly, we even got colouring in for my 4 year old - which nan enjoyed more than he did haha. We can not wait until we go back again

2nd visit. As good as the first. Fabulous hosts. Friendly, gorgeous cake. On the Art front. Stunning. The very best portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth 2nd I have ever seen. What a treat.
