Really good building, lots of photo opportunities, a good hour was spent here, lots of little places to go if you want sanctuary or a quiet place to prey.

Great old traditional church, went for Easter Sunday and it was fantastic. Great service. Now the church itself is also a great building. Just to hear the bells ringing is amazing. (Something you don't widely get around London). The Congregation is also very welcoming and friendly.

An ancient gem of a place. Lots of great history, home to the Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Nice art exhibit and a stone carving festival on. All very, very good.

I regretted for being there late-30 mins before it closes. It is a gorgeous church where you may relax yourself by simply sitting there and enjoying the hymn. The whole building is amazing too.

What an absolutely beautiful building to be able to walk into and admire not only from the outside but the inner craft i actually find my inner peace just walking around this place plus always admire it from a far that it has stood the test of time a total historical building . I would highly recommend a nice peaceful walk around the buildings then a glance at all the stained glass windows inside with the most amazing architecture structure to me this place is just incredible.

Incredible staff who were knowledgeable and friendly telling us about the building and it's past. Able to answer a lot of our questions, point out things of interest to look at and genuinely loved the minster. Worth looking at even if not religious for it's history and beauty.

This place is truly amazing. 900+ years of history can be felt from every stone. A place to be calm, quiet and reflective. A warm and informative, but not intrusive, welcome on arrival. Although I have visited many times before the leaflet I was given told me lots of things I hadn't realised before.

Beautiful and unique cathedral! I've not seen a similar style of built, with the ceiling being relatively low as compared to the tower. Would highly recommend visiting! Also, very helpful and talkative staff.

It's a fascinating medieval church with lots of old monuments and gravestones as well as box pews, a Norman font and a historic organ.

Looks drab on the outside but the many beautiful stained glass windows are a must see.

A lovely minster in the heart of Halifax. They have lots on throughout the year. There is a lot of history on the walls and in every part of the building. I'm not a religious person but found the place very interesting and the staff/volunteers very nice and helpful. There is a lot of Ann Lister related history here too. There is also amble parking around the minster too.

Visited a few years ago. Mr. English gave me a wonderful tour and we had a nice chat. I’m from Oregon, USA, and my uncle traced our family back to a Christopher Wode who was baptised at Halifax Minster in 1501.

One of my favourite venues in Yorkshire. Yes York Minster is stunning , Ripon Cathedral too but I would encourage everyone to visit both Halifax Minster and Bradford Catherdral. Last night it was the Overgate Hospice Choir Christmas concert with the Hammond brass band in the Minster. A fabulous night in a fabulous venue.

We went to the Christmas Tree exhibition on Friday and it was absolutely stunning. The building is such a beautiful place to visit and has such a history. The guys on duty were so nice and helpful. If you are in Halifax then check it out, close to the railway station and the Piece Hall, one not to miss.

Today the primary school in which I work took 60 early years children to visit this beautiful church. We went to view the Christmas trees that are on display until Christmas. A full recommendation is given to this stunning church.

The Minster is on restricted opening hours due to covid so we were lucky to find the Minster open in the morning. The vicar was present and was very friendly allowing us to continue visiting although the Minster was officially closed. There's not that much to see, despite the building has two side ailes. Look out for the military colours and the gargoyles on the flying buttress to the right of the porch. It was nice to see a ram's head linking the building to the town's heritage. Don't make a special journey but worth a look if you're passing.

Wonderful church. Inspiring to be in the place where Anne Lister had habitually worshipped. The prayer chapel was lovely and had some very helpful resources. I was surprised to find that the Blessed Sacrament was not reserved there, though.
