We stayed here for a friends 40th. We couldn’t fault the accommodation everyone was so impressed it had the real WOW factor. The hosts really have thought of every little extra, to make your stay comfortable. We ventured to the local pub for dinner which was just as lovely. The hot tub was big enough for us all to get in, shame the weather was so wet as would have been great to have enjoyed the garden and igloo…..We’ll definitely be recommending to friends and family. Thanks for helping us create great memories of a fantastic weekend.

The most perfect location for a hen/birthday/ a lovely time!! The details are perfect, from the bathroom amenities to the sound system just make the stay so much more enjoyable! The bar and karaoke room have made our hen do so special and a lovely additional twist to such a wonderful venue! My only “con” if I were to be picky is the parking, there are a good few spaces but advised to car share if possible but not the end of the world! Highly recommend this venue! We added the bartender which was absolutely fabulous- Gemma really added something special to our stay!

Just celebrated my friends hen here and had a fabulous wknd. The venue is amazing, there’s nothing Emma hasn’t thought of. The finish is high end, there’s a lot of love and attention gone into this place, nothing like this in Essex. Communication good, especially when you’re there. Hot tub is so lovely, we loved every minute and would love to stay here again. Thank you x

Amazing place! I’ve just come back from my friends Hen weekend & we had the best time! I would highly recommend staying here. Everything was taken care of, this has been very thought out and you can tell a lot of hard work & love has gone into this venue. We will 100% be booking again in the future. We had a great time celebrating in The Kings Head. There was plenty to do. We did a fair few hours in the gigantic hot tub in the day, making use of the hot plate outside in the sunshine for a bbq too. At night, the Kareoke room was the perfect place to sing our hearts out, with a steady flow of drinks from the cocktail bar next door, too. Emma was so quick to reply to us with a couple little questions we had also. The 10pm curfew wasn't an issue as its so cosy inside, it was perfect to wind down on the sofa after a long day having fun. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for having us!! Missy

Had the best stay for my Hen party…the venue is incredible! Rooms are amazing and the beds so comfy. Loved the massive hot tub! Cocktail bar was the best. Would highly recommend!!

Brilliant weekend away. Venue lives up to its name. I stayed for a hen do weekend and had the best time. Karaoke room is brilliant, hot tub was lovely as was the BBQ area. Rooms, bathrooms all what you would want and expect. Points to think about... Due to being in a cosy residential area, garden access is not allowed after 10pm. Which is a huge shame because the BBQ and hot tub is lovely. Would have been nice to stay outside, especially in the heat! (Though plenty to do in the house). The house does have everything you need including towels, robes, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers. Beds were super comfy and vanity area was like being on love island. Girls loved it but we did have some mirror lights which weren't working - Easily fixed. Also seemed to be an issue with the drainage and a horrible smell which came about whenever anyone did the dishes. Definitely recommend a stay here.

The attention to detail was amazing. Gorgeous beds and bedding, lovely decor. Well equipped kitchen. The karaoke room is a brilliant feature. Near to plenty amenities. Will 100% book again.

Literally, THE BEST VENUE EVER!! I came here last weekend for my sisters hen do! It did not disappoint. Everything was literally perfect. I walked in and just said ‘wow’.. Emma went above and beyond to ensure it was the perfect event and she certainly didn’t fail. The giant hot tub, giant bath, glamping, cocktail bar were all huge hits!! Even a lounge for when you need 5 minutes to yourself. Decorated to a high standard, very glam and just perfect! We just couldn’t find any Adele on the karaoke; that was our only ‘issue’ 🤣🤣!! I will certainly be enquiring again for a family event or even my hen do in years to come! Thank you so much ❤️🤍 xx

I had the great pleasure of staying at this amazing venue for my Daughters Hen Party Weekend. I have to applaud the owners on their attention to detail with every single want and need taken care of. A beautiful venue with high end quality furnishings and opulent touches. Fantastic facilities, the Cocktail Bar, the Karaoke room ..Hot Tub .. wow!! I cannot recommend highly enough. Just arrived home from a fantastic stay at the Kings Head organised as a surprise for my 40th Birthday. The venue itself is amazing, all the little details make it the perfect place for a party. The cocktail and karaoke room were a huge hit and the decor the owners put on was beautiful. The beds were SO comfortable. We had a lovely morning chilling in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and would love to book again in the summer.

We stayed here recently and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The accommodation was clean and had absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decoration and the layout was 10/10. Beautiful bar area, hot tub and garden area. We all loved the karaoke room which was an added bonus. Location is beautiful too. Overall this place is perfect and I want to go back!

Had an amazing Hen Do weekend, the accommodation was beautiful and luxurious, absolutely perfect for our weekend celebrations. The karaoke room was a highlight, as well as the enormous hot tub. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to celebrate with friends and family.

Stayed here for my 30th birthday weekend with the girls and just WOW cannot fault. Emma and Lauren’s service from the start was impeccable, we’re always readily available with my many questions! The location is perfect, but the house is even better. The karaoke room was very well used and the highlight of our weekend! Had the best time hosting for our girls weekend and the best thing was all we had to pack was our clothes and food! Everything else included, Thank you again will definitely be rebooking 🙏🏾
