We had a fabulous stay at Brightham House and have already said that we can't wait to return. The decor of the place is beautiful. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had the most AMAZING breakfasts, we could have literally eaten everything off the menu. We enjoyed the bar area in the evenings, getting to know other guests. From start to finish this beautiful accommodation couldn't be faulted. The Cosy Room was just that - lush, comfy, cleverly designed and well ventilated. The hosts made such an effort to know me, to remember my name, my favourite coffee. Loved the bar, loved the decor, and the food I'd come back for even if passing. Thank you for having me.

Booked a spontaneous trip with my boyfriend in Marlborough and despite the limited time we had there, it was perfect. The hosts were very attentive, the breakfast was amazing and very delicious and the bnb was decorated beautifully. The hosts very kindly upgraded us to a larger room which was much appreciated after the 7hr drive and also gave us great recommendations for places to visit in Salcombe and Hope Cove. A great stay and would love to return.

Alistair and Scott made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating with our arrival times. Beds were super comfy, rooms very clean and a breakfast is out of this world. Honestly I'd come back just for the food! Couldn't ask for more really. These guys are doing everything right, keep up the good work and we'd happily stay again / recommend to family and friends. Thanks again. Parking is round the back, not in the primary school!

Alistair and Scott are both exceptional host and Scott is a very talented cook. The rooms were good value for the area and offered a nice one night stay. Also helps when the aesthetics are right up my partner's street! Thank you both, would recommend to any one. Photo is the ultimate bagel.

We stayed at Brightham House for 4 nights around the August Bank Holiday weekend earlier this year and we could not have had a better stay. The attention to detail of everything from the hugely impressive breakfasts to the gorgeous garden and amazing rooms was second to none. Alistair & Scott are both extremely accommodating, friendly and very knowledgable. We quizzed them several times about places in the area we were looking at visiting and their knowledge including the best routes to follow and best places to dine really made a difference. We also enjoyed our day trying out the E-Bikes, they were a great way to explore the area and another imaginative idea that adds to the appeal of Brightham. We will definitely be going back in 2023, one of the best breaks we’ve ever stayed in. We couldn’t recommend highly enough.

From the moment we arrived at Brightham House B&B, we felt right at home. Scott & Alistair served us delicious Devon cream teas on arrival, and each of them took excellent care of us for the duration of our stay. Each room in this B&B is thoughtfully and eclectically appointed with fascinating works of art and trinkets. As an added bonus, their two dogs are absolute sweethearts. You will not want to leave this wonderful place!

What a fantastic place,Scott & Alistair are the perfect hosts,nothing too much trouble.The beds super comfy and the rooms spotless. The garden was so relaxing as were the indoor areas .
