A stunning day out, I wouldn’t call myself a person who would actively go to an RHS Garden, However I was really impressed. We went with our 3-year-old, grandparents and great grandparents and there was something for all, the food is good quality and very reasonably priced, little cafe's and Ice Cream places throughout the gardens. The gardens, each of them designed beautifully and the care and attention to the display and cleanliness was impressive. A place I will be returning with the family for sure.

Visited RHS Rosemoor Glow Event. The gardens were terrific & decorated so well. Ample parking including disabled parking. Helpful staff, clean facilities. The lights for the event could be extended and made more festive but still a great event. Would also lend itself perfectly to a Halloween garden event. Unfortunately we did book food for the event and the restaurant was pre booking access only so friends that hadn't booked but wanted to sit with us couldn't... Understandable, but the restaurant was half empty the whole time we were there. Staff were a bit overzealous about laying down the rules. The food was pricey for what it was but as it's a special event you don't mind paying a little extra. Unfortunately the quality of the food wasn't great either... Very watery hotdogs, not very flavoursome burgers, extremely dry mince pies... So gardens fantastic 👍 food not so 👎

I visited the gardens for a vintage car show, which was extremely busy, and there was hundreds to do with plenty of food outlets to grab a bite to eat. I then had a walk around the rest of the garden looking at various plants. The best thing I think is the way the garden is laid out and kept.

First visit to a RHS garden and wasn't disappointed. The gardens were stunning and probably the best gardens we've ever visited. It started well when the entry staff took you to one side and explained the map and the gardens to you and finished with a brilliant plant store and gift shop as you left. In between the gardens were stunning with the rose gardens full of flowers and scent. The water features looked beautiful, and the lake was full of dancing dragonflies. We spent most of the day there having lunch in the restaurant and an afternoon tea in the Wisteria tearoom. Both meals were of high quality and at a reasonable price. Fantastic day out recommend to anyone.

REVIEW: QUEEN MOTHER'S ROSE GARDEN AND SHRUB ROSE GARDEN. AUGUST UPDATE- THE HOT GARDEN. PLUS GLOW 2023 I read the other day that this is, a good year for roses, the reason being that rose aphids have had a bad time, so I grabbed my camera gear and headed for Rosemoor. Both gardens as you may have guessed are formal gardens, but I have always been just as happy with formal is informal gardens. Both gardens are fantastic, the Queen Mothers garden has some beautiful white climbers and the Shrub garden uses ropes to trail the climbing roses. Rosemoor has a great team of guys and girls who inform me that there are over 2000 roses in these gardens, having spent time photographing them I have no reason to doubt this. "Less is more", if you want to take your photography forward, if you find a part of the garden you really like allocate time to shoot, stick with it. This will give much better results than trying to cover everything. In summary both of these gardens are vibrant, rich and spectacularly beautiful. THE HOT GARDEN. I am very grateful to two previous reviewers "NIci" (September 21) and "Rob Hobbs" (August 21) who have prompted me to visit the hot garden. Do check out their reviews, superb images from both of them, very well done and thank you. This garden is pure colour sensory overload, superb, it is an extraordinary garden. For the first time I visited the "Glow" evening. Talking to the gardeners and staff they seemed quite modest about the display but it was superb. A huge display on the main lawn, individual garden sections were illuminated and the lake was fantastic. For me though the woodland walk was extraordinary the RHS team illumined the whole wood to the West of the garden (approx 4 acres). A superb and breath taking display.

Had an amazing super duper day at Rosemoor , can highly recommend. Lunch was definitely 5stars. Table service and reasonably priced for two courses and a drink . Had the salmon , delicious new potatoes and yummy salad too with produce from the garden . Lake and water features are phenomenal. Got pics of damselflies and other mini beasts too . Was lost in the peace too in upper woodland walk . Stunning drive down too and scenery . Will definitely be going again

We visited in early July 2023, the day after storms had hit Devon. No need to worry the gardens were beautiful and the attention to detail impressive with area after area of planting schemes and design features to bombard the senses and inspire the most modest of gardeners. Don't miss the expansive gardens and orchards beyond the underpass but wear comfortable shoes and give yourself time to explore and relax in the thatched shelters, and maybe take tea from china cups in the wysteria tea room. A lovely mature day out, one to revisit at another time of year

We loved this place and wish it was on our doorstep. Wonderful gardens and park well laid out and easily accessed. The staff were excellent and were really helpful and made sure we understood the map and how to get the best out of the gardens. Can't recommend it enough 🙂🙂🙂

Wow what a lovely place out on a motorbike ride (such a lovely day). Didn't have any intentions of stopping there had some food and a quick look around. What we did see was just so beautiful and the staff so friendly. We hope to visit soon and have a full day.

Some of the best deep flower beds I have seen anywhere and splendid even now at end of September. Bees and butterflies enjoying many areas especially the vegetables integrated with flowers and fruit. Well structured for the photographer among us. Lovely woodland walks with lakes and interest along all routes. Two good allotment style areas with greenhouses and educational buildings. Visit both is my recommendation. Well done to the garden team. Cafe good too. Nursery very good of course.
