Nothing but problems with this dentist carrying out very poor quality work. I first used this dentist 10 years ago and they were fine. But this year, I’ve had a filling last less than 5 months. The temporary one has also now fallen out because there wasn’t a member of staff available to do a permanent one. Reception staff are stressed and I’m sure they have to deal with a lot of abuse, but I’m made to feel like I’m asking for the world when I phone to make an appointment and that it’s an inconvenience to talk to me. I hope they fix the mistake they made on my teeth. It’ll be a two week wait because I have to wait until payday to pay for my treatment (even though I’m an NHS patient and should be offered it for free because it’s well within 12 months of the original treatment).

Ridiculous service! I've been hugely let down. I've been with them on the NHS for the past few years, been going for regular check ups and appointments... My dentist left months ago and still hadn't been replaced. Got a letter in the post basically telling me today that she's left and offering me to go private with another dentist. Ok they offered me a payment plan but it's not right/ fair to force patients out of NHS dental care and into private because a dentist left. I shall be going private but won't be giving my money to them. I've never felt particularly welcome there anyway

NO LONGER DOING ANY NHS TREATMENT I've been with MyDentist for a number of years now and they've always been great. Unfortunately I recently received a letter saying that their dentists are no longer doing any NHS work. This is due to years of NHS under-funding by the Tories (that bit wasn't in the letter, but the information is easily accessible).

Although waiting time was around a month for an appointment it was considerably less time than the NHS waiting list! I had my first ever filling booked in and some protective sealants. Work took place over two appointments which I booked two weeks apart. I know some people are fearful of the dentist but my work was completely pain free. Everything was explained to me from start to finish. I'm so happy with my gold filling - I've been pain free ever since and it was worth every penny. Thank you to my lovely dentist and his assistant for making my experience comfortable.

Great dentist, lovely people and well looked after. Had some troubling pain and was seen very quickly by Jae, who has done amazingly in restoring my tooth. Followed up by Sadie for some cleaning. She is the best dental hygienist. Highly recommend. Thanks everyone!

Tried to make an emergency appointment in June, ignored, fobbed off, made an appointment for 3 months in Sep. Came in Sep told I needed 2 fillings, made appointment- December! Came in December another filling has fallen out. Dentist said don’t have time to do two fillings, made another appointment now March till I get that one. Now I have toothache around original issue. Reticent to call - cos they just say take paracetamol- I have a high pain threshold. Not a joke. Whether private or NHS - we’re still customer…

My 15 minute checkup was cancelled with an hour and a halfs notice back in March - apparently my dentist was seeing emergency patients. I was thanked by a very pleasant receptionist for being so understanding - I was actually very nice and said I felt sorry for her that she and the other staff were most probably on the receiving end of quite abusive calls at the moment - although obviously I was inwardly annoyed to be told so late on. I was told to ring back in a couple of months to rearrange. Alarm bells were ringing as I couldn't understand why I had to wait before rebooking, but the phone call caught me by surprise. So yesterday I rang to make an appointment. A very different receptionist answered - well, let's just say that she could do with some training as to how she speaks to people. Matter of fact, rude, talking down to me as if I was nothing - like something she had stepped in. Even this morning, I still feel so upset with the complete lack of empathy regarding how she told me that my dentist in fact left 3 weeks ago. I told her (not shouted - spoke - all the time reiterating that I wasn't complaining to her personally) that the whole situation was disgusting and I knew this would happen - they should just have been honest with me from the start. The phone went dead. I rang back asking why the phone had been put down on me, but she thought I had ended the call!? I said no I hadn't and I seriously needed to know what to do with my notes and that of my child. I have been with Vine for around 14 years and will now have to go private and find a dentist elsewhere - after how I have been treated, they have lost two further patients - not that I think that they actually care!!

Very poor service - expected to pay twice for the same examination as they have a new dentist. Zero communication from them, under-staffed. My advice - go elsewhere. Before the cut and paste response comes, no Im not going to get in touch with the practice manager for two reasons; firstly, they are supposed to be contacting me to sort this out and secondly you can never get through

Terrible, avoid! I WAS a patient, phoned during lockdown was told I couldn't have an appointment. Tried to make another appointment after lockdown to be told that I'd been de-registered as I hadn't attended for 2 years, then told I couldn't re-register as they are full!!! I found this to be rather heartless, I have been avoiding NEEDED dental appointments to ease their burden, and this is how they treat me! Total lack of compassion. The dentist I used to see was insulting with terrible bedside manner, but still better than no dentist!!

Many thanks to ALL the team for the 1st class treatment i received last night. At the end of a busy day for the staff, i was given a painless tooth extraction, all within 1 hour of phoning for treatment. I have always received excellent service with My Dentist and would highly recommend them. Many thanks.

Absolutely let down by them. Despite being in AGONY all over Christmas and being a cancer patient with an emergency they prioritised others over me and don't even have the decency to call you back when they promise to. I don't write bad reviews ever but have been let down badly enough and left in a pickle to warrant writing this. Really feel like making a complaint about how I've been treated.
