Ordered from here for the first time and all I can say is how have we missed this fantastic curry place. Have been using another place not far from here and I have to say The Kala Sheep is way out in front. The food quality is excellent and arrived in good time and hot. Portion sizes are good as well. I can't wait for them to open their dine in option as we will be frequent visitors.

Best Indian takeaway we've found delivering in the Newmarket area. Apparently they have plans to open a restaurant later, so we'll definitely check that out! Food tastes great, portion sizes good. Questionable pricing on some items (£1 for Chutney, £3.25 for naan) but overall price fine with discounts on orders over £40 if ordered directly rather than through third party service. Highly recommended, just be mindful of pricing on smaller orders that don't hit discount threshold.

Had a meal here last night 7/12/2023 for a 50th Birthday, excellent food, staff very attentive, great sized portions, 1 mistake made which was quickly rectified, very reasonable price. Decor inside the building was lovely. Will return again and reccomend. Thanks guys

I know I'm not the easiest customer to please as I have high standards when it comes to food and let me tell you these food jusssttt hit the spot!! It's heavenly.. Tandoori chicken melts in mouth, prawn dishes are so juicy and cooked perfectly. I have have had tweaked one of the orders and let me tell you now.. Chef got it just the way I like it but so much better than I thought. I'm surprised he understood so well when I couldn't even tell what spices to mix but describing the sauce. Lamb is so soft and tender. Goodness I've missed good food Brilliant customer service. Highly recommend.. Didn't disappoint!!! Thank you very much!!

It was our first time to get a take away from Kala sheep. It was just so delicious!!! My dish was Lamb biriyani came with mild veg curry. The flavour was perfect. The lamb was nicely soft too. I’m glad that we have this lovely Indian place in Newmarket. The restaurant people were really sweet as well. We definitely will return. Absolutely LOVE my takeaway curries from the Kala Sheep. Always arrive on time and amazingly delicious food! You will not be disappointed if you have a takeaway from here! Food is absolutely spectacular. By far the best curry house in the area. The lady (I usually speak to) is incredibly friendly and somehow remembers my nut allergy!! Always a great experience from ordering to eating! 👍😊👍

This is hands down the best Indian takeaway I've had in Suffolk. Seamless delivery to my awkward house, absolutely delicious food. My meal wasn't at all oily and tasted fresh. I can't recommend Kala Sheep highly enough!

Best Indian takeaway we've had since moving to Newmarket, by far. Lovely woman on the phone, chef is great at making dishes to dietary requirements. Plant based Tikka masala was delicious. Will recommend to anyone 👏

We went in to eat last night (Friday) food was delicious! Hot and big portions. It was empty as I believe they have just opened. Staff were very friendly. This is the best Indian that I have eaten in Newmarket. Definitely will be returning.

Friendly service and real good Indian cuisine for us! The restaurant is just right next to the parking, very convenient!

When entering the restaurant we were immediately tended to, restaurant had a warm bubbly atmosphere. The waiting staff were impeccable, they also helped recommend us a few dishes which catered to our tastebuds. All in all an amazing experience! Will definitely be dining in again!

I've used Kala sheep for takeaway twice now and both times I've been incredibly impressed. Unlike some other Indian Takeaways the food tastes very fresh and home cooked. You can tell the chefs have taken time and care over the food and used good quality ingredients. I'd highly recommend and will be using Kala next time I want a takeaway.
