Someone who listened! Genuinely listened! Peri menopause & menopause for women in NI is a struggle. The NHS wait for clinics is ridiculous and the GP knowledge is worse, having to pay for a service that we as women should have basic rights to is ludicrous. But its something that has to be done because we've no where to turn. To meet a GP who actually listens is few and far between when it comes to menopause. Dr Thornton, listened, advised, showed empathy & understood my struggle I without a doubt would recommend her service and would point any women having the same struggles in her direction.
