A beautifully placed setting, the staff and surroundings are second to none. The shop sells incredible produce from their farm. We’ve already booked another break hoping that the COVID-19 restrictions will allow 🤞🤞

One of our favourite places to camp! Kids love it and its nice and cheap. Toilet and shower facilities are good and its great being able to see the animals. Close by to supermarkets and moiras chippy delivers and the chips are gorgeous

Stayed 2 nights in motorhome in Feb. We were only ones there so lovely and quiet. Toilets and showers were being refurbished. Cafe and farm shop nice, owners lovely and very helpful. We bought bison steak from their herd. Dog walks from door. Only negative at £25 pn it's expensive, especially when toilets not available. Would go again out of season.

Stayed here a few weeks back now and was not advised that during my stay the land owners had hired their barn out for an 18th birthday party which went on until past midnight with music blaring and countless teens back and forth using the camp toilets, leaving them in a disgustingly state. This was followed by most of the revellers camping in the 2nd field leaving the part and proceeding to sit out making a non stop racket until gone 1:30am, eventually at 2am I had to take it upon myself to walk across and request they be quiet as my two children had been woken up and could not sleep. Left first thing the next morning and this far have sent two emails to Mr Sumnall to raise my dissatisfaction and a request for a refund due to the excessive noise, both of which have been completely ignored. Zero customer service or consideration for other campers from the owners but didn’t mind telling all of the youngsters to leave the park at exactly 10pm as they are the rules! Based simply on the owners flippant attitude towards his customers I would avoid at all costs! Would have given zero stars if had the option. Also, ‘revamped’ toilets are the worst I’ve ever encountered at any site!

Came here with my partner to try out the cafe & farm shop after hearing good things about their produce and we were not disappointed. The food from both the cafe and farm shop are delicious! One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Janice makes excellent homemade pies, cakes and saussage rolls which we've also tasted & have absolutely no complaints about and everything is very reasonably priced too. The staff here are so helpful and really friendly & are happy to answer any questions you have about the history of the farm. You can feed the animals and they have a wonderful selection of handcrafted goods in the gift shop to look at too. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back as regulars. If you're looking for good quality produce, beautiful scenery and a chance to camp out this is the place to go. Thanks again to Sarah, katie and little Bobby in the farm shop for looking after us and helping us pick our meats & a big thank you to janice and Andy for opening your farm up and lnviting the public in to see what a fab job you do. Events with the horses and crafting sessions are also held here so it would be a lovely day out for anyone with little ones as well. See you again soon hilltop we look forward to it 😊

Very friendly and welcoming farm. Little cafe with excellent cake and coffee. Staff were all friendly and chatty and let us explore the farm and see the animals. Would love to visit again.

Was going to stop here overnight in our motorhomes, it's a working farm but the facilities did not warrant the £25 overnight cost, the toilets were filthy and quite away from the overgrown uneven pitches, we stopped long enough to find another site
