Had a wonderful time here, the staff were lovely and service was fast and efficient. The owners stopped to chat and Lisa even remembered our children when she taught them at Humphry Davy school! Lovely food super tasty and fresh.. Great atmosphere very clean and well laid out. We will definitely return!

The food is perfect, but they don't know how to make a hot drink, yet know how to charge for them. Maybe consider taking a flask.

This is an absolute gem & well worth the trip out to Townshend. A beautiful setting and the most delicious fresh food. There were 5 of us so we ordered the menu to share. It was all so good we couldn't decide what was best although the Korean cauliflower was so good we ordered 2. Great wine list with some really interesting wines. Ben had great stories about each vineyard, his knowledge is really exceptional. All the staff were lovely and we felt very welcome. Can't wait to see what happens here as I'm sure it will be a huge success.

Fabulous food and spot, I tried the Mushrooms Bolognese loaded fries which were superb, as was Jollys Ginger beer with Jamaican chili extracts. Second visit July 28th 2023 and tried the aubergine bao bun which was super tasty as was the mackerel pate. No problems with sitting outside with our large woolly dog, inside was quite busy.

Absolutely wonderful place, the staff and owners are so lovely and welcoming, Lisa at FOH and Ben in the kitchen. The kitchen area is behind a high counter so you can see, and talk to the chefs at work. The food is wonderful and there's always something new and a little bit different to try which is a real treat.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. The menu is small but what we chose was very good. The corkage charge of £10 was a bit of a shock, but still cheaper than the listed options. The burger and smoked salmon with scrambled egg were much appreciated. The service was extra friendly, too. Thank you.

We stayed in the holiday cottages on site so ended up eating here 3 times in 5 days! They are dog friendly and we ate several times outside with our 4 dogs. Amazing coffee and the food was very special. Great vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. The vegetarian Meze was incredible, the flavours were so different and it was not your standard Meze. The lemon tart is the best we have ever had.

A very enjoyable, pleasant experience! Friendly staff, excellent food and service in a beautiful environment. As you turn into the property from the road , there is a stunning field of meadow flowers to greet you. Just had to take a photo! We'll definitely be returning 😊

The big green shed is amazing, the food is first class and not expensive. The service and atmosphere are also first class. I would strongly recommend a visit to the big green shed, try the place you will also be amazed and delighted.

Been about 4 times, maybe 5 since they opened this year. Sat outside for lunch(es) till the weather turned. So last time was inside. The food is lovely - would'nt have gone back if it wasn't. Plates aren't huge but then that's not what we're looking for. Three plates shared between 2 people seems about right, but all the veggie dishes we've so far have been great. (Can't speak for the meat stuff because don't touch the stuff but sure looks good). Nice homemade cordials too, lots of wines to choose from. Good service too. And like the rural location.
