We were on holiday from Norfolk and had seen signs for the Old Malt Scoop Inn so we went for an evening meal..the staff were friendly and attentive..the lady behind the bar informed us that we would have a little wait for food as there was only one person on kitchen duty. We were fine with that. We were shown to a table and she took our drinks order and took our food orders too. As it turns out the wait wasn't long at all. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our evening spent there.

Met our friends for some food and a drink. Warm and welcoming staff. Generous portions. Great prices. It's great to still find these sort of pubs around.

We had a meal in the pub which was very nice and stayed overnight in one of the lovely rooms. Going for breakfast now. Had a realy good stay at this wonderful place.

Loved it here! It was a lucky find so we will come again. Great views, good food, good service and really nice accommodation.

This is a Beautiful place to come to drink. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I will be coming back here more often, and I can take my Dog in with me. I most definitely recommend this lovely bar to anyone.

Had dinner with some friends Nice village pub Asian fish definitely not worth having…. More soy sauce than fish.

Lovely menu and delicious lunch. We’d phoned in advance to check dogs were welcome and we had a great table near the fire. The lady was the perfect hostess, friendly and welcoming and ensuring we had a wonderful time. The inn has a really good atmosphere and we will definitely return.

A last minute weekend away with friends and we are so happy with our find. Super friendly staff and a real gem of a place. The food was absolutely fantastic. The room was immaculate and beautiful and the bed was super comfy. It's really quiet and perfect for a night or weekend away. Highly recommend.

Lovely pub with great food and friendly staff in a lovely friendly village. Very dog friendly, overall can't say anything against the experience. Everyone including fellow customers were friendly. Well worth the trip to meet an old friend.

Booked Sunday Roast last minute the day before for 10 Adults and 3 little ones. Asked us to choose our meat (beef, pork or nut roast) in advance, which was totally understandable due to the size of the party. They sat us in a great spot, slightly out the way which worked well with the kids. We were bowled away! The quality and amount of the food for the price was amazing. Not only generous portions of full roast on our plates but also dishes of cauliflower cheese and roast parsnips brought to the table! Extra jugs of gravy too! Meat was wonderful quality and cooked very well. The staff were helpful, quick and friendly all with a very busy pub. Couldn’t recommend more!
