A great day out for the family. Opertunity for forest walks with a scattering of play areas. Around the lodge you have a cafe, toilets, Go Ape, bike hire, archery and open space for games or picnic. Parking was £12.50 for the day

Lovely forest with lots of different things to do, my son loved the GoApe, you can choose different levels that are suitable for their capabilities. My son did the tree top adventure +. The staff were friendly, informative, and safety conscious at all times.

Great fun to have in an afternoon, we did the challenge plus course and it did not disappoint us, although we did finish it very quickly (2hrs) but the activities and course were fun and exciting. Worth the trip from London! Staff are also friendly and knowledgeable and easy to interact. The only downside I would say is that there are very minimal instructors around the site in case of an emergency. Would recommend.

Always a great place for a tough challenging adventure. Give those muscles a good work out. Excellent experience.

We went for the Segway forest experience over the weekend and we an absolutely amazing time. Our instructor Erin did a fabulous job she was happy, friendly and very professional, highly recommended. The forest is beautiful and it even nicer when you can see it from Segway. Thank you for the great experience.

The team is really nice and encouraging. The harnesses and equipment are taken care of and checked after each use. The courses are thought out with one exception (the reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5) 6 year olds+ are allowed on without an adult. My daughter, being a new 6 year old, was feeling brave and wanted to do the course alone. And although she's tall at 4ft, there were a few parts of the course where she struggled clipping herself on. Luckily enough, a slightly older kid was happy to help her, but it did make me slightly nervous from the ground. It needs a minimum 4ft 6-inch height limit for unaccompanied children.

This was our first time at Thetford and we had a super time, my grandson did the Adventure +, thoroughly enjoyed it. The instructors were friendly and made sure everybody knew the rules. We took the dog and walked her through the forest which she really enjoyed. Nice cafe

Had a great time at Go Ape Thetford. The course was challenging but achievable for us, and we are reasonably active but did not have any climbing experience. We took our time going through the course, and it took us around two hours to complete. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the comprehensive safety briefing made sure that we felt confident throughout the activity. The surroundings are beautiful and there are trails you can go biking or walking on after finishing at Go Ape. There are also free toilet facilities and a drinking water tap to fill bottles. The cafe serves hot food, including burgers and macaroni cheese, as well as sandwiches and pastry items. Parking is a bit steep at £3 an hour, but we received a voucher from the Go Ape staff for free parking the next time we go. Overall, we enjoyed it a lot and would consider going to other Go Ape sights around the country.

Very fun (if a little terrifying) adventure through the trees. The initial safety explanation is succinct and engaging, and then you're left to have fun clambering across shaky bridges and tightropes. We then spent the rest of the day exploring Thetford Forest, which included playing some adventure golf, and taking part in orienteering. If the weather's on your side, this is a really great way to spend the day! 🌲🐒

Go Ape Thetford is an outdoor adventure park located in the heart of Thetford Forest. It offers a variety of activities, including treetop adventures, zip lining, and Segway tours. I recently visited the park and had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the equipment was well-maintained and safe to use. I especially enjoyed the zip lining, as I was able to see the beautiful forest from a unique perspective. I would definitely recommend Go Ape Thetford to anyone looking for a thrilling outdoor adventure.

Lovely location, nice play park for the little ones. Treetop challenge was definitely great fun. Kinda wish to have upgraded to challenge +. Either way, it was worth it. The only downside is parking, going into double digits ££ fairly quickly.

What a great morning out, real good fun, and can be as challenging and easy as you want. Obviously there is a level of fitness required. Would definitely go again!

Really enjoyed my time here with friends! Fantastic staff and a fun time. Felt safe and the setting was beautiful. My only gripe was the price of drinks at the cafe. £2.80 for a bottle of 7up was a bit steep.

A fab family afternoon adventure at High Lodge in the heart of Thetford forest, staff was extremely helpful and informative. All family had a great time, definitely something for all ages. A note, our 5 old year had put on he’s harness but then came a little overwhelmed by the height, a member of the team was very encouraging but our son still decided he didn’t want to go up, they happily offered a refund for this. Highly recommended, definitely we be back again very soon.

Go ape was so much fun we had a group of six which was a nice amount of people, I personally think if there were more of us we would have been too separated. We all had fun doing the tree top challenge would highly recommend to do. After we went back to the camper van and had a well deserved bacon baps and cuppa! I would recommend anyone to give this a challenge a go...you may ache the next day but it's worth it!

An amazing day here recently. The weather certainly helped. The site was well arranged. Parking is excellent. The space is perfect for families. Several good activities including mini golf, zip lines, segways, bike hire, barbecue hire and walks in the woods with little surprise spots for the kids to play.

Loved it, definitely recommend! Staff here are absolutely ace! Very supportive of my sister and other less confident persons on the course but also very fun to talk with for more adventurous people too, hats off! The easy vs hard routes are great fun for all capabilities. The hard can be very challenging for the average joe which in turn is rewarding!

Awesome experience at Go Ape Thetford. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Course was well maintained. Kids loved it. We did the lower ability course. There was a point half way where you could continue to harder, go down steps or zip line to finish or start again. If you went on to harder obstacles you then doubled back to the zip line. Great for us as two just did the first section again and two went on to the harder obstacles.

Great day out at Thetford Go Ape. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and always put our safety first. Good fun course, but had some scary moments!

We were helped by the magnificent Lewis who helped my daughter get round despite her significant misgivings. The Treetop Adventure is quite high so be aware but the team are lovely and will give lots of encouragement. The zip wires are much fun and were repeated. My son did the Treetop Challenge which is over 10s (and confident ones at that) - takes a good 2 hours. He absolutely loves it.
