A lovely little campsite. Online check - in which makes things nice and easy. Online communication before the stay was good and we had clear instructions as to when to arrive and which pitch to go to. The pitches themselves were spacious and flat! Well kept grounds. The shop is small, but has essentials. The play area is also small, but again, perfectly fine for a quick swing or climb. The area is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed cycling, walking and visiting all manner of places in the New forest and this site was a fantastic base for that. The toilets and showers could be better, but there are warm showers and they are clean. They just need a few more and a fair bit of modernising. However, that is the only consideration from us. A lovely family visit overall. Very happy.

A great camp site, very friendly and helpful staff.they have nice spacious pitches. We had electric hook up for our 6 person tent. Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly, plenty of onsite food options if you needed. Also a coffee tent for refreshments. Water is available near the toilet block so take a container. The woods near by are beautiful, lots of squirrel and I spotted a young deer on the last day. Fishing lakes have plenty of fish, although we didnt catch any but others had better luck, a 10lb common carp was caught just before we left site. We would definitely return soon.

I have just had 13 night stay here, what a beautiful camp site. Pitch size is about biggest I have seen. When I booked I ordered dry warm and some sun, staff delivered in bucket loads. I would recommend this site for a long stay or just a weekend. Thanks Ian & Karen Pitch 22

Recently stayed in our caravan at the site. It was immaculately kept. The facilities were spotlessly clean. The shop was very well stocked. The site was in a brilliant location to explore the new forest and beyond. The pitches were really generous in size and set out so they are very private. Will definitely return.

The couple running this site were extremely helpful & friendly. The pitches are well maintained. Unfortunately, our view wasn't great, overlooked caravans storage area. The approach to the site is an unmade lane which is full of potholes, quite Horrendous. The main road into Truro is always SO busy, it's like rush hour traffic. Very unpleasant.

Nice campsite with all amenities you could need, we felt safe and the kids loved the grounds. The site has many hedges adding to privacy, pitch sizes are good and there are electric and water facilities with washing up sinks, showers, and clean toilets. Small on site shop, owners working extremely hard to look after the place. Lovely walk into woods and Alderholt village. 2 small fishing lakes with small carp and mix of crucian and silver fish. Nice campsite

Stayed for two nights on a serviced hard standing pitch. The location of our pitch was perfect, with the added bonus of privacy hedges all round. which for us was great as we have three dogs we popped up a couple of wind breaks just for added privacy. The pitch was plenty big enough with room to spare. A lovely quiet site with everything you need. We absolutely loved the fact that there is a great dog walk on site. this runs the perimeter of the site with gated access straight into a huge woodland. Here you can let your dogs off lead. we were amazed by the amount of dog poo bins on and around the site. This is very rare! 3 great fishing ponds that seem well stocked. Facilities cleaned very regularly, and the guy cleaning them was very friendly. Office staff were very helpful, we forgot to bring our camping chairs, and the lady got straight onto the Internet to find a local stockist. Free Wi-FI is also rare on any site, for thank you. The information room is well stocked with books, dvd's, magazine's and even board games and outside games to borrow. Nothing has been over looked at this site and at such a bargain price. Cannot fault and will definitely return.
