A nice spot to eat on rose street. The spicy sausage was very tasty. The mixed meat plate was delicious, even the rice had great flavor. Service was good. Definitely worth a stop to eat

This beautiful location is a local favorite as well as a must try for out of town guests. The care and quality ingredients used in each dish sets the Bistronomy 176 apart from the rest on the street. From the pickiest of our party to the most adventurous we were able to find dishes that not only delivered a flavor profile that was delicious but were vibrant in color and the temperature was perfect. Our beautiful backdrop of the rustic road made a perfect Edinburgh evening. The haggis here is unlike any we have tried. It was so flavorful and some of the best quality haggis. The sea bass was perfectly seasoned and cooked to the right temperature. They really stepped up for the gluten free and had plenty of options. My family and I arrived in Edinburgh this evening and decided to dine here based upon the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. One of my sons and I had the lamb chops based upon the owner’s recommendation after asking him for advice. Wow. Hard to put into words how amazing they were. Appetizers and dessert (highly recommend the baklava with ice cream) were also fantastic, as was the burger. A wonderful family owned establishment where their passion and experience translates directly to your plate!

Highly recommend this darling, family-owned and run restaurant. Celebrated two birthdays dinner. The owner very attendant to our table, and his daughter our waitress. Best restaurant experience while visitng the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

Fabulous food! The hot meze platter was big enough for three people to share. I had the chicken shish and my husband had the lamb casserole. Both we're good sized portions and were delicious. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. We definitely want to go back.

Excellent Mediterranean fare. Great wine list, highly recommend the shish (we tried both lamb and chicken), ample portions on the mixed olives, and the bruschetta is an absolute must. Worth the short walk from the Royal Mile to sample this place.

Booked with 2 friends at short notice.... we were not disappointed! The service was so friendly. Food was lovely, fresh and generous portions. Want to go back and try other items on the menu. Quite small, so booking suggested as it was busy - people did seem to be walkins, but we saw some people turned away and it would be a shame to miss out on a lovely meal!

Loved the dishes at Bistronomy 176! The meats were perfectly cooked, and the restaurant beautifully reflects Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even during busy times. The meals were delicious, and the portions are so generous we took leftovers home to enjoy. Highly recommend to everyone.

We came for a family meal for my wife's birthday and we could not have wished for a better venue, the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. We will certainly be going back and will be recommending it to friends.

Best food around! We all had a variety of dishes that were all very tasty: the seafood and chicken casserole, the Bistronomy Special and even the burger! The service was amazing, same as the food! Small restaurant with a cozy feel! Highly recommended! ❤ Get in and get anything, you won't be sorry!
