Amazing and relaxing. Also a very good fishing location.

Living next to the Tawd Valley park I think it becomes too easy to take such a peaceful and tranquil place for granted. If you was to take a stroll through the many paths along the valley and river you could spend hours without seeing a road or a house. Having access to a place like this is becoming rarer all the time and I am lucky to live in close proximity to so much natural woodland. The council do a good job of keeping on top of its cleanliness and with the recent improvements it's got even better. If you haven't had chance to walk through the tawd valley or haven't been there in a while it's worth a visit.

A beautiful park with woods, the tawd river and plenty of wildlife. A new bike trail. Easily accessible from the concourse shopping centre or library car park. There's a fantastic adult park run on a Saturday at 9am and junior park run at Sunday at 9am. Highly recommend the park runs, incredibly friendly people.

This is a nice, relaxing part of Skelmersdale town centre. The voluntary groups have done a great job at freeing the rivers of pollution. Bring walking boots, it gets a bit muddy in places! I hope the Tawd Valley Park survives the new town centre plans.

Good walks & nice scenery 👌

Excellent cycleway / walkway through the open parkland. Could do with a few extra bins for rubbish or the ones provided emptied more often. Path follows the route of the river Tawd from the rear of Concourse to Latham High School. Something for the residents of Skelmersdale to be proud of in my opinion

The Tawd Valley has been done up really well! There are new pathways so as you can have a nice walks for kids & adults alike. There's still a bit to do but it's going well & for the first time in 50 years we saw a mother duck with 8 ducklings on the Tawd river Brill!!

Nice long walks and lovely scenery to get away from it all.
