Eating here now. Sweet sour pork with hardly any pork inside . Just battered flour. Black pepper beef tasted like rubber. The best dish is the Japanese seafood tofu. Disappointed. We were hungry. Not going to waste it. Forced to finish it . The fried onions in the black pepper beef were delicious though.

Nice little traditional Chinese restaurant at the second floor of the venue. Restaurant was bright and had plenty of seating. Dim sum was lovely and fresh and we had a good time.

When you arrive go up the stairs to the next floor to get to the dim sum restaurant; there appears to be a different restaurant on the ground floor. This place is wonderful; great menu, delicious food, friendly staff. They had all my favourites and then some: xiaolongbao, chicken feet, cheung fun and more! I recommend two to three dishes per person. They also have a non-dim-sum menu if you're feeling like something heartier - I loved the curried beef brisket, which came with rice and napa cabbage. I think this place is suitable for both adventurous eaters and people who like to play it safer. The menu has every dish in English and Chinese, with photographs for all dim sum dishes. Allergens aren't labelled, but when I asked about specific allergens (fish) they were very clear. They don't take bookings, but we didn't have trouble getting a table on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure if there's a lift, so I recommend calling ahead to check if you're a wheelchair user or have mobility issues.

Been here a few times and the food is pretty good, dumplings are huge so you only get 3 in a portion compared to the standard 4. It is a little pricey so getting the mixed steamed dumpling is worth it as it works out a bit cheaper. The downside is the lack of staff, sometimes would have to wait quite a while to even get the bill! Go early on a Sunday to avoid queues

Had a brunch date here with husband and we both agree they were very tasty dimsums. Come here if you need some good umami kick. Service was really good, too. Only problem is you need to pay cash, so we had to run and get some. We have to go back and try entrees next time.

Dim sum is good! Salted egg yolk bun was good but usually only when its hot! Congee could have been better but the rest of the dim sum that we ordered was great!

We went to try the dimsum. Everything was good, but my favorite were the chicken feet and the salted egg bun. The sauce on the chicken feet was so rich. The salted egg lava inside the bun was out of this world.

Fantastic dim sum with a decent range of options. As someone who loves and frequents dim sum restaurants, I must say that they know how to make good prawns at this venue. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious and fresh. Their siu mai is quite good and their har gau is excellent. Our favourites are their prawn spring rolls + wontons, yeung chow fried rice and prawn cheung fan. Their prices could be a bit more affordable but they usually deliver in terms of good quality food and taste.

Food was good. The service is cold and robotic. You can clearly see they are just interested in your money with no eye contact or face expressions. Also paying cash is better for them apparently, clearly to avoid paying tax. Next time match the taste of the food with your service. Imagine having good food but letting your restaurant down with your service and attitude, strange.

The best dim sum in Bristol I think. The only negative would be the very slow service, but now we kind of expect it when we go there.. Also, cash only place. Great value for money though.

It has been renamed Little Shanghai! The Dim Sum is basically authentic Cantonese food. The best ones are congee, prawn dumpling, beef balls and fried noodles. It's a little expensive, but it worths!

Every dish is very mediocre. The roast duck is not crispy; steamed pork short rib is too big and chewy; the beef in Beef Hoo Fan is too plain. And cash only.

The Pork and Kimchee bun was 90% bun and a little cube of minced pork n kimchee. The congee was good but small size. Overall good. Tasty.

Here has good dim sum. It's real Hong Kong's taste. Good atmosphere. You have to book for the window seats. (It's 1st floor of the building. The ground floor doesn't sell any dim sum)

Good points are range of meals and one of the staff being helpful. Bad points are poor communication of one of the staff, having to pay in cash only and lots of meals not available - which was only pointed out after we tried to order several different items.

They have loads of little restaurants in here. First time I had the dim sum upstairs it wasn't all that. Went in there recently a d it was perfect. Cheung fun was perfect. Shredded squids were bangerang. It was all generally of a high quality. Rate this place.......dowtstairs they have a good cheap cafe with bbq meats etc. Also worth a punt

I loved their food, I choose different types of dumplings and congee my favourite. Service were brilliant although they're so busy but they were responsive, atmosphere are busy and people has to eat fast cause people are queuing. But very jolly with positive vibes. Best recommended and I would like to go back there again !! Thank you Little China tawn.

Hearty won ton mein! Unlike most places, the won tons at Little Chinatown were a decent size and one bowl had six of them. I could taste the prawns in the filling. The noodles and broth were quite delicious too. Just what I was craving! Staff at the restaurant were accommodating when we’d brought our own cake for dessert. There’s also karaoke and an asian grocers conveniently above/adjacent it.

Food is excellent with a good variety of dimsums to offer. You can order even downstairs where they do great laksa or bubble tea. The place gets very busy and service can be very slow. But staff is pleasant and nice mural paints . Good Chinese food in general and bubble teas are very nice to have .

Their crispy pork rice and dimsums are very tasty and fulling. Staff is very accommodating. Will definitely go back again soon.

Didn't know who was there ..... He was rather rude. Part of the lights in the restaurant were not switched on. We asked if the restaurant was opened, and that guy said " DIDN'T YOU SEE THE LIGHTS WERE OFF"... yea, parts of the restaurant's lights were on too, so we asked? Needn't be rude.....could have said....sorry, we are not opened today, please come back another time.....that would be a nice, polite and welcoming?
