Beautiful cove with amazing scenery. Free parking at Carn Galver engine house. Use the path at the left of the engine house, the one behind is very challenging. There is a small beach which is not accessible so you are quite likely to spot some seals. We spotted one mother feeding a baby seal. Nice walk over the head into the sea as well. There is also some flat areas SK you can have a picnic as well.

I don't think we can be surprised by a beauty of the countryside in Cornwall any more but this place.... It was raining on the day but still we decided to carry on walking appreciating the views and.... the ponies. You don't see this everyday. They just enjoyed each others company minding they own business. We were privileged to be a part of their world for 5 minutes.

We found this beauty by accident. It was a rainy day and had a walk out to stretch our legs after a long drive. It was also a bit cloudy but you could still appreciate the beauty of the area.

You can sit here and forget about the rest of the world, it is so peaceful. Many rock climbers train on the cliff faces, (As did the Commandos in WW2, they have a cliff face close by named after them) the Climbing Club own the long house near the road.

Its very difficult to try and find words to describe the beauty of this place, all i can say is absolutely stunning, there is a beautiful small inaccessible cove far down below the high granite cliffs that has such clear blue waters and great coastal scenery streches for as far as the eye can see, it is a very beautiful part of the SW coast path to walk.

Parked on national trust carpark. Then walked to fort. Lovely views and easy walking.
