Went to this shop for first time a few weeks ago. We found it to be an amazing hidden jewel. I bought a class 37 second hand train in excellent condition for a fantastic price as well as some rare intercity mail carriages . Shop staff were friendly, helpful and offered really exquisite advice. Highly recommend!!!

Such a good shop for second hand deals. I went today and although I didn't buy a loco I will 100% be going back to get one in the near future (payday). I think the amount of models on display is truly wonderful but it distracts from the outstanding customer service. I was greeted upon entry by the owner and he was the most friendly face to see when you walk into a model shop. I was offered tea or coffee something that's never happened to me before in a shop. It was just an 11/10 for customer you can really tell the owner loves what he does. My favourite part of the shop was the model oval in the centre where you can test trains. I tested the delicious and a class 40 and to say they're old second hand then ran like brand new. I honestly couldn't recommend this shop enough it's truly a marvellous place to go to get all your model needs especially if your from Manchester or surrounding areas. I'm from Sheffield myself but I will definitely be making the trip back (even if Northern delay the train for no obvious reason). 11/10 I would highly recommend. Thank you for the experience. 5 stars really doesn't do this shop justice!!!

Though the shop may be small, it boasts an impressive collection. The amicable shopkeeper is capable of catering to customers' preferences and is always willing to provide detailed introductions. Inside, there are various models of cars and military vehicles, but what caught my attention the most were the countless steam locomotives! Definitely deserving of praise!

A fantastic little shop. Was absolutely wonderful to pop in today. A very welcoming experience with some lovely staff members. It may not look much but inside is like Aladdin's cave. It's full of all your railway model and airfix needs. Jim is marvelous really happy to help and nothing is to much. The offer of a brew whilst browsing was bonus points. Looking forward to visiting again soon
