Excellent guest house. Nice clean rooms with good breakfast choices. Liz is lovely and enjoys a bit of banter.

We were very warmly welcomed by Liz and offered complimentary beer & wine. Liz had a card & chocolates for us on arrival too, a lovely touch! The room was amazing, a family room for 4 adults. Very clean & fresh. Staff friendly. I have special dietary requirements & Liz was on hand with anything I required. We will definitely be back here again and would highly recommend!

Simply excellent. The house itself is stunning. The rooms are impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. We were offered a glass of wine or a beer on arrival, (complimentary). “Can I do this? can I help with that?” - Liz is superb and a master at hospitality - which is why it’s our third visit.

Had a wonderful stay here at the inverlea guest house. Was made to feel very welcome by liz and the team . Our room was lovely and we had a fantastic breakfast before we left. Would definitely recommend stopping here. 5 🌟.

Couldn't have picked a better guest house to stay at. Warm welcome off Liz on arrival couldn't do enough for us. Room wasn't what we expected it was exceptional, all government covid19 rules in place, food was really good & plenty of it. Stayed December 2021 and from communication prior our stay to our actual stay, everything was superb. Liz was the perfect host and so friendly and welcoming. Rooms had everything we needed and was absolutely immaculate and clean. Lovely freshly cooked breakfasts. We visit relatives throughout the year who stay in Ayr and will definitely return. Liz and Douglas are wonderful people, who are determined to ensure you have a lovely stay. Nothing is any trouble and I had asked for flowers to be in our room for our anniversary, Liz chose some beautiful flowers for me. The rooms and accommodation are superb, immaculately clean. Great hosts, great breakfast, if you come to Ayr and are looking for somewhere to stay, look no further.

Superb made to fell welcome as soon as I rang the doorbell. Liz was friendly and very helpful with a complimentary drink on arrival. The room was very modern and upto date. The breakfast was excellent and you had lots of choice. With Liz always asking if you wanted more. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone visiting Ayr. It's a 10min walk to the city centre.

From the minute we arrived we felt welcome. Liz helped us upstairs with our luggage. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. A lovely touch was a card welcoming us to Inverlea. The tea and coffee making facilities, chocolates, biscuits and water were all lovely touches. Liz advised us we were in the smallest room and apologised, however it was amazing. The comfiest bed and spotlessly clean room was excellent for our short stay. The breakfast is the best we have ever had and we have in the past stayed in 5*hotels. We would definitely recommend the Inverlea and we hope to return in the future. All the covid rules are in place.Thank you Liz for a 1st class break.
