It's easy to order at Zimbu because the vegan items, as well as the gluten free items, are clearly marked on the menu. Almost all of the food is out front on display letting you see what you're ordering. The food is also prepared in front of you. If you're curious about the flavor or spiciness of any item, samples are offered for you to try. If you're sensitive to spicy-hot food, be aware that there are a lot of spicy items. I ordered a rice bowl with chili tofu and coconut sauce. Both the tofu and sauce had hotness that I'd rate 4/10, which to me is hot but tolerable enough to still enjoy the food. I enjoyed my meal as did the other non-vegans in my group.

All of the food at this place is phenomenal and you really can't go wrong with ordering anything off of their menu. The owner is obviously very passionate about good food and goes out of his way to make sure that you find the dish that you'll enjoy the most, so be sure to ask about samples when you go in. I highly recommend the MoMos, which are made fresh while you wait and come in a savory sauce on the side.

Today we BRANCHED out!! Wow, it was AWESOME! We have never had Himalayan food before, so we happened past the Zimbu Himalayan Bistro. What a great choice we made. The owner and son are so kind and giving, explaining all the food flavors, options, letting us have a taste to try. We had Chicken Momo, my husband said "that's a soup he could eat always!" I loved the Tika sauce and the coconut, they were my favorite. My husband loved the Vindalu (spicy, but not too much 😊) The noodles in the bowl were my favorite. All the meats were super tender and flavorful. Thanks guys for a great lunch!

We created our own bowl. It was delicious 😋. Loved the options and the ability to mix and match. The staff was super friendly and offered suggestions. Nice, clean and lovely environment. Recommend 👍🏼👏🏼

This is my favorite hidden gem for my work lunch. The quality of the food is excellent every time and the owner is so kind and personable. It’s much better quality food with more personal service, and just as quick and convenient as the chains. The rice and curry dishes are delicious but my favorite is the Chicken Momo, which is made to order.

Delicious food! I had the Tofu Chili w/ Basmati Rice and Coconut Sauce. Very good place for vegetarians and vegans. If your tolerance for spice is low, I would not get the chili lol. The naan bread is good but the best is the spring rolls. Will definitely order the spring rolls again as well as a different menu item. The employees are very welcoming and kind as well. Very clean and warm environment.

The food here is incredible and priced for a happy wallet. The worker who helped us gave us the best service, showed us all the inner workings, let us try chicken and the sauces to help us make our decision that much easier. Come check this place out and support local!
