    It is easily overlooked as a 'Pub', but this is a lovely cosy, clean romantic setting for lunch or evening meals. Lunch menu is a terrific idea of a smaller, very well priced meal, leaving room for an equally well priced starter or pudding. Staff are immaculate, polite, and very attending. All in all, it was a lovely experience. Top marks to those who have clearly put the work into this place.

    First time trying here, we met a friend for lunch and thought we'd try here. Lovely place. Service was professional and friendly and food was delicious.

    Excellent from start to finish. Great food, generous portions, huge selection. Place spotlessly clean. Super efficient friendly staff. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Been here several times. Wish we had a place like this nearer home

    Had my birthday meal here for 19 members of the family. Could not fault anything. Service was great and the food was amazing. Everyone agreed that they would definitely visit again. Many thanks to the staff of the village inn.

    Would recommend if you are looking for a tasty, well cooked snf reasonably priced meal. All the usual favourites on the menu: gammon steak, fish and chips, steak pie, scampi, steak, curry etc. Busy, so worth booking. Wooden floors with minimal soft furnishings, hence a bit noisy.

    We ate from the small lunch menu, we were stuffed. Good food, nicely presented and great service. The coffee was good too. Thank you.

    Amazing portions... food is amazing. Had several dishes as dine here alot. Never been disappointed in any aspect. Highly recommended!!
