A beautiful lovingly created space .Extremely well run and organised and exceedingly friendly. Wood saunas are a completely different experience to electric ones and the variety of quirky sauna spaces is delightful. Every need has been considered and met: changing rooms, lockers, showers, drinking water. It’s also thoroughly cleaned between sessions.

LOVE these sauna baths, a really great variety of heats, sooo good for you. New plunge ice pools and free tea in the winter. The energy feels very gender neutral and non threatening to women. Lovely staff and generally an ace vibe! Big recommendations.

My favourite place to go. The best place in London for sauna. It’s run so well from sign up on the website. through to the sauna maintenance and also creating a really wonderful atmosphere for all who attend. We go regularly and are always delighted and relaxed afterwards. Very cool and will continue to return! Access to cold showers, sauna hats, toilets, fresh water and tea as well as 90 minutes of saunas and plunge pools. Need to book in advance!

Excellent sauna! Always great heat & constantly improving, every week there's something added or improved. I come from 1 year working in Finland and trying lots of saunas in & around Helsinki, the saunas at Hackney Baths are legit, on level with the best Finnish saunas! This is such a great spot! Friendly welcoming staff!! Highly recommend!

This place will never stop surprising me. It's like a square in a different dimension in London where you can recharge, refresh, and relax. Beautiful people who work there are always kind and dedicated, very gentle and helpful. Love it, absolutely love it 😍

I had a great time at the Sauna Baths. The experience was really invigorating, everyone is really friendly and you definitely feel like part of the community here. Unfortunately there was an event going on that day so we weren’t able to use all the Saunas, it would have been good to get some advance warning via email. Some of the facilities could do with a bit of improvement/updating but otherwise it was a really great experience and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to experience a day of wellness.

I loved my visit to this sauna and can't wait to go again. It's got a friendly community vibe, inclusive and body accepting values, and everything you need for a relaxing outdoor spa experience. The cinnamon tea was outstanding, the perfect refreshment during hot saunas and cold plunges.

Really friendly staff & people who go there. The staff explain the various saunas & temperatures. The baths remind me of a film set, its a creative and fun set up. The changing rooms & showers are basic but practical. There is no hot water to shower which was the only thing that was missing for me. There are plenty of cold plunge opportunities tho if you can handle it. The bar staff found out it was my birthday and offered me free cake, lovely touch to complete a fab day! Overall, value for money, I'll definitely be going on a monthly basis, can't wait for the next one.

This place is an absolute gem! The staff is super nice and there is a great variety of saunas and cold baths. The whole place strikes the right balance between modern amenities and traditional cozy environment.

Extremely welcoming and helpful to a first timer like me. It's rough and ready which is actually a welcome change from glossier (aka pricier} places. And incredibly affordable. I'm a convert! If I one cavil it would be that the water in the barrels looks like it could be changed a bit more often - it's a little murky...

Such a magical spot. Cannot recommend enough. Great number of saunas, from big to small and hot to colder, lots of plunge pools and space to get coffee and cake afterwards. I’ve got a feeling I’ll become a regular!

Incredible concept, grassroots execution and they have grown an authentic community in a safe space. The saunas are a part of my constant routine and it’s always been a joy to go there. Folks who have rated this place lower seem to clock the lack of warmer showers or certain other amenities but I stress that if you want a true spa experience, london has other options for £200+ easily. If you want a community based inclusive spot that is very fairly priced, this is the spot to go to. Enjoy the cold showers, it’s good for ya!

Very poor. But wrapped up as charity. . We booked for my friends birthday and the system defaulted to the date I placed the booking. Not the date I wanted. I didn’t notice and turned up in good faith the following day. In spite of there being spaces and ‘no shows’ they wanted us to pay again. I wouldn’t have minded so much if that had been made clear, but the man on the door said get yourself a drink and come back in ten minutes. So we bought a couple of beers and patiently waited. But then he wanted us to pay again. Even though he acknowledged that we were listed as no shows for yesterday. And even though paid for spots were available. I was very upset as the visit meant a lot to us. I asked Charlie the manager if he would honour our payment from the day before and he was rude. He made me feel that he was better than me, helping the needy poor. Apparently that’s the profile of punter. I didn’t know that when we booked. He said we should pay another £5 each or go away. Rude.. Tbh the vibe could go either way…It could be interpreted as funky and Heath Robinson? Or is it just really run down? I’ll leave that to you to decide if you go. But I suggest you don’t. In principle. They’re just not nice.
