Had a great time here doing my PADI Refresher. I've not been diving in two years so after abit of searching I decided to come here to do my refresher. The facilities are amazing, the staff are super friendly and there is a fantastic group atmosphere. The instructor was really helpful, went through everything thoroughly yet was still able to make the evening good fun and ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Really enjoyed the experience and I'll certainly recommend!

Everyone's super friendly and everything is well priced! Loved diving with Orca and got my boyfriend some courses as well and he thoroughly enjoyed learning from Gary and the other instructors and staff, very welcoming! Going on an upcoming trip with them as well which is ice diving which not many courses centres offer so a great variety! 100% recommended for all diving ages and people interested in diving, don't be nervous, everyone's so welcoming you'll feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door!

Me and my partner did the PADI Open water course. We loved it from start to finish. Gary was excellent at organising everything, and our instructor Aidan was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We learnt with friends who had Vince, he was also a fab instructor, friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall a 5 star experience, great fun and would really recommend. The local scuba diving community seems really inclusive and welcoming.

Gary charged me £45 for the battery replacement of a Cressi Leonardo computer, and took him a week to do the job. Incompetent, unfriendly and a total ripoff. Do not recommend this shop and won’t visit again. Luckily there’s another diving shop in Basildon with excellent customer service and reasonable prices, Nutty’s. Recommend to use the latter instead.

We have had 2 classes with orca as a family group, and have been so impressed with all the trainers. I was particularly nervous as a non confident underwater swimmer, but the team were so patient and kind. They reassured me and walked me through step by step and I came home full of confidence and wanting to go again. Chris, Sharron, Jack and Alan as well Gary are just the best! 100% recommend this course.

My son wasn't a strong swimmer wasn't confident in water but wanted to do scuba diving, 18 months on he is still adding to his open water qualification. He is like a fish when he gets in the water now. The instructors are excellent Gary the owner is always there for advice. There is also a huge social side linked with Orca, we have been away for a few weekends this year great fun had by all.

I completed my Open Water in 2014 and recently completed the Padi Scuba review with Orca Scuba Diving Academy. All the instructors are very friendly and let you take everything at your own pace, which means it's a really relaxed environment when learning to dive. Everyone is very supportive, and it didn't take me long before I felt confident in the water again. It's a great place for both experienced divers and beginners and I'd definitely recommend diving here if you're looking to start diving or if you want to go further with your diving qualifications!

I completed my OW with Orca and planning on doing my Advanced very soon, Staff are all lovely and very welcoming. My 8 year old daughter is currently doing the Seal Team course and having a blast. Very professional bunch, highly recommended.
