Spent a year and half here after my marriage ended. Found the reception staff and neighbours to be a friendly helpful bunch. I will deeply miss my apartment which became a true home. Thanks for a great stay guys 👍

We spent 18 months living at Brook Place ahead of going travelling. We loved the place - the location is perfect, the apartments are well designed with a great contemporary feel and have good sized kitchens and bathrooms. As a new building the heat insulation is superb so we rarely needed the heating even in the depths of winter. Grainger is a highly professional company with a great team of staff who are always welcoming and friendly. Add in the roof terrace, gym, bike storage, concierge for parcel delivery and it’s probably hard to beat.

This place is amazing to live in. It is clean and the customer service is to a high standard. They're always checking up on you making sure you're okay etc. It has a nice lounge area to work in and roof terrace! Overall nice quality apartments. However be careful when it comes to your deposit as they will deduct lots for minor cleaning, in our apartment they did not paint it sufficiently and then deducted money for that which was quite frustrating. In other words expect a big chunk of your deposit to be taken.

Brook Place is not safe. Several incidents have been reported in local papers over the years. The most upsetting one during the time I spent there was in March 2023 when a group of men barged into the building and spent an hour and a half roaming the corridors, banging on apartment doors, and menacing residents. They only stopped after residents confronted them and forced them to leave. The story was reported in The Star: "Sheffield residents terrified as five men bang on doors in flats looking for target". Otherwise, Brook Place is overpriced. Their marketing team does a remarkable job selling the residence as luxury accommodation, but the daily reality is similar to your average student accommodation in most respects. Hard to recommend for the price.

Wonderful facilities and the location is great😊 The rooftop terrace is big plus; it's a great place to watch the sunset when the sky is clear. A huge shoutout to the team at the reception for their hard work and patience. 👍

Stayed here for 7 months 2020-21. Manager Mark and front of house staff were really helpful throughout. Thanks to them for excellent service and attention to detail. The apartments are well appointed, close to the city centre (walking 10mins) and 1 min from the action on Ecclesall Rd. My studio flat was warm in winter and my heating bills were very low during this period. Was sorry to leave Brook Place, enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of moving in.

The best people run this building they work really hard to ensure all the residents feel welcome and at home. Couldn't ask for more! If I was in charge I would give all staff a big raise!!!

I just moved at Brook Place and the appartment I have is not well designed. This was the only appartment available according to the manager. Also, there is too much car noises near my appartment. I cannot sleep well. I will definitely move out of this place before the end of my tenancy. Plus some residents allow themselves to play music at 1am. Also, there is no AC and when I moved in the appartment wasn't cleaned at all. I was so disappointed that I vacated the appartment for 1 week. When I returned to it Only my fridge and TV stand were repaired but the place was left dirty. The bed wasn't clean at all. I could smell humidity. Spider web was in the apartment. The bathroom was dirty. Everything was dirty and they wanted me to ignore it. The car noises make me sick. Unfortunately I signed the contract and paid full rent ( year) more that £12K for this appartment. I regret it. If you can find a better place than Brook Place go there. Don't waste your time. #Too much car noises. Can't sleep well. Not well designed. Good staff member.

Grainger Danger!! The office staff in the wider company, who set up the contracts are always amazing and I cannot fault them. However, I lived in Brook Place Grainger Apartments for 3 years, and in the last 6-12 months, the standard of service and care went drastically down hill. Repairs time has increased dramatically, there is limited communication about things happening in or outside the building that will affects residents, and the staff have become openly rude in many communications both with me, my partner, and what I have seen friends in the building. In another example, I stopped ordering parcels online because my last 5 parcels over the past 2 months, where never checked in, and because the delivery company just hands it to reception, I constantly have a worry its been stolen. I would get them delivered to a post locker and carry them which was so annoying. After all the original staff members left about a year ago, the loss was so noticeable. There's not the same level of professionalism or care for residents anymore. This building will suffice if you are student, or staying short term, but if you are a working professional who values where they live and needs a proper standard of living with a sense of comfort, I suggest you do not live here, especially for the price being paid.

If i could give 6 stars i would ! 3 Years at brook place ; 3 very pleasurable years. From the reception team over the years ; Mark , Alejandro , Emma , Issac & many more …all the way to the night porter! The amenities are divine ; and the community is very strong. (There’s a group chat with 100+ residents who are always happy to be of aid when you’re in need ) ! Wether you’re a student or a professional ; brook place is the place to be ! Thank you BP

Start missing Brook Place team! The most professional and warm residence team I’ve ever met in Sheffield. My partner and I decided to move out because the rent increases a little more than we expected, but still we had a wonderful time here. The Brook Place team made us feel like home instead of just a place to rent. Last but not least, special thanks to Isaac for his timely response when I ask for an urgent help for receiving my important document during weekend even though I already moved out (and I received it next Monday). Also many thanks to Emma and Jacqueline for so much help you provide. Our cat and we really love your gifts for last Christmas! You all make us enjoyed our time in Brook Place and also in Sheffield.
