RACIST! refused to service us after we booked!! very unprofessional!! took our money and our deposit and refused to get us our reservation!!! if you are muslim i suggest stay away from this!!

DO NOT USE THEM. They will not respond or be helpful in anyway. Wouldn’t even allow the kids to put their bags down in the lobby. Disgusting behaviour. When told that they were unprofessional with communication they kicked my family out and refused to give us our booking. My disabled mother and 2 young kids who just had a 12 hours flight were kicked out due to egotistical unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour. Unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Left my family out and did not communicate properly.

Don’t go here if you’re muslim or have any basic human decency!! First they put on their website that check in is on 3pm, then they change it into 4pm on messages and did not respond to any of my calls asking for early check in because the number they had us contact doesn’t even work. Then we message them and they only respond after us calling them unprofessional (which they are). They not only called us rude but also were very islamophobic and racist. They said that us calling them unprofessional (due to their terrible actions) makes them feel unsafe. We paid a security deposit ,did everything according to their instructions and even paid for the flat. Only to have it CANCELLED the second we got off from the airport because they “can’t serve people like us”. I am a very sick mother and I came on a wheelchair with my 18 year old daughter and 12 year old son. This is absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here.

Had an amazing nearly 2 week stay here! Super easy check in and check out process (pick up and return the key from a nearby shop). The apartment was great. Nice and spacious living room with a very comfy couch and massive TV (and a Playstation!). I liked that there also was an air purifier. Thats something you don't get in many places! Also very nice and clean bathrooms (2 of them). And 2 bedrooms, but I only used 1, as I was by myself. The kitchen was lovely but I only really used the fridge and washer+dryer combo (really useful!). I do have to say the bed was a little small for me in length, as I am 1.86 meter tall. My feet would be touching the bedframe when I stretched out. But this wasn't a major issue as I could just lay somewhat diagonally, which i usually do anyways. Other than that, the bed was very comfy! Both bedrooms also had their own TV (though I did not use them). It was nice and quiet at night time and the window blinds were perfect for making the bedroom nice and dark for a good night sleep. I did have a small issue with the bathroom with the bathtub, as the water there did not get very warm. I asked the host, and received an instruction video on how to boost the boiler, but that did not help. So was unable to really use the bathtub. The shower in the other bathroom did get nice and warm, so I don't think the issue was the boiler... But this might be something for the host to check and solve for future guests ;) The apartment building itself was... Not that great to be honest, as other residents / guests left their trash in the hallways and stairs. The stairs looked like they could really use a good deep cleaning and the walls in the hallways might need a fresh coat of paint. It sometimes smelled of weed as well, but I suppose this is not really something to deduct stars from the apartment itself. It does however give a bad first impression when entering the building... But once inside the apartment you quickly forget all about that 😇 I really enjoyed going up to the 5th floor, where you have access to the roof. This was amazing as you have a great view over the city, which was especially nice as on November 5th, with the fireworks everywhere. Around the apartment I didn't have any issues with fireworks or noise as that was all quite far away. The neighbourhood in which the apartment is, was not the best with loads of old / unused decaying buildings, lots of garbage on the streets and graffiti everywhere. But it was nice and close to where I had to work (Bullring shopping centre) which was at about 10 minute walking distance. Again, nothing to really deduct from the apartment itself, which I would still give the full 5 stars, even though the bed was a little small for me and the issue with the hot water in the bathtub. The rest of the apartment really made up for that! If I ever come back to Birmingham I would definitely stay here again! I hope the host doesn't take offense to the small issues pointed out, as this is merely to point out where they could improve the apartment and surroundings & overall impression.

I've been staying at Maevela's apartments since they've first opened up. The owner Shamil really knows his stuff when it comes to being friendly with guests and even allowed us to check in early free of charge since the cleaners finished up an hour early! Will definitely be staying here in the future with my girlfriend, thank you!

The apartment is so well resourced, comfortable and centrally located. For 5 days it became our home in Birmingham and we had a very relaxing and fun stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home in Brum.

Booked a 2-week stay in Birmingham City Centre and had the best experience with Maevela! Checking in was easy as they sent us a guide and the cleaning was on point when we were out & about. Will be staying with Maevela again soon! 🔥🛋️
