This is a fantastic little shop, I go in to buy cigars and it is such a relaxed atmosphere when selecting what I want there isn't any pressure and David is a knowledgeable and helpful owner (not like many other small tobacconists). It is far too easy to buy online and lacks the knowledge and care that is apparent in this shop. Come and visit it is a gem of a shop.

I met David in the shop today and he helped set me up with my first humidor & selection of cigars to try. He shared his extensive knowledge on cigar culture. As a beginner I found my first visit to a tobacconist really enjoyable. I most certainly be returning in the near future.

Downstairs a humble newsagents selling all the bits and bobs you will probably need - upstairs the best collection of boardgames you can buy for miles!! The space isn't big but they sure do cram in the content!!! (You will want to go early morning for a solid look round as the floor plan realistically only works with a single file. If you're after Pokémon cards, kids board games or anything up to the beefy gloomhaven these guys have it. DND books and dice.... Yep they have it too. Treat yourself and pop by it's definitely worth it.

An Aladdin's cave of boardgames. Huge variety of games to suit all types of board gamer. David is very knowledgeable and helpful and can order games in for you. The staff are really friendly and I look forward to looking through the kalax units to see what my next game will be.

After years of walking past this little gem I had no idea what treasures were hiding upstairs. Whether you are a hardcore board gamer or just dip your toes in the hobby once in awhile, the second floor in this little shop has something for everybody. I now make a point of visiting every time I am in Bury St Edmunds, and rarely do I come away empty handed or without intentions to buy something on my next visit. The gentleman who runs the place, is very friendly and helpful with a great knowledge of the products. Prices are competitive and there is a great range of games to cater for all ages and taste, I highly recommend.

Fabulous old fashioned tobacconist with a large selection of loose tobacco and quality cigars. It has also got a walk in humidor containing fine Havana cigars. If you’re into boardgames there is a large selection upstairs

Great FLGS, with SO many games crammed into what feels like should be such a small space. Yet still easy to circle round so see everything and you'll usually find what you're looking for. If not, the owner is very knowledgeable and can help you out with when things might be due in, new releases etc. The shop has a great relationship with the local gaming groups, and helps us advertise our groups on a whiteboard at the top of the stairs. All are welcome to the gaming hobby, and we're glad Lorfords is here to supply us!

Great little hidden treasure for board gamers, looks small but packed with a large selection of boad games, including some KickStarter editions. Also, the tobacconist part seemed popular too. Friendly staff, great experience.
