We group of 6 friends from India, on a vacation to the lovely city of Belfast, was craving for some Indian food, we found this restaurant. The ambiance was calm and beautiful with some soothing Indian instrumental music in the background gave the perfect place for a pleasant meal. The menu was huge, with wide varieties of Nepalese and traditional Indian dishes in veg as well as non-veg options. The food we ordered (Veg Momo, Poleka Pakheta, Chicken Himalayan, Malai Kofta, Paneer Jalfrezi, Plain Naan, Garlic Naan and Fried Rice) was very well presented and was superbly delicious in taste. Special mention about the staff especially Mr. Shyam, great customer service. We were really impressed with our visit to this restaurant, Would love to go again and would recommend highly.

We went for my Birthday, Sham was amazing. Really helpful and accommodating. He made our food to our spice level which is hot hot. It was perfect, he even sang happy birthday to me and gave me a cake and two glasses of bubbly. He has gained two new customers. Highly recommended.

The lamb dumplings, Himalayan curry, sampler, and lamb curry were really tasty. I'd get the Himalayan or traditional lamb curry over the sampler. There was less lamb in the sampler. Get the cheese and garlic naan too. The spicy vegetable curry is very spicy and you may want some paneer and rice to combat the spiciness.

We have been a fan of Kathmandu Kitchen for years, we’re surprised to see the reincarnation to become Bites Of India. While change happens, it remains a first class experience. Many of the same super friendly staff, serving top quality food. There is a lovely range of dishes on a newly designed menu, with a few of the old favourites, all beautifully presented and bursting with flavour ! Bites of India is our new favourite!

This is the BEST restaurant in Belfast for flavoursome food as someone who is allergic to gluten and dairy. There are so many delicious options of traditional Indian gluten free breads! I can’t recommend the dosa’s and idly enough they come with the most flavourful spiced gravy with the deepest flavour. The vegetarian food is some of the best I’ve had. Select dishes done incredibly well. Extremely satisfying portions! The time and effort put into the food is something you can taste with every bite. Great for veggies, vegans, and meat eaters alike and particularly wonderful for gluten free people!

My wife and I went out for a dinner after several months and therefore it had to be good and this new branch of Bites of India didn't disappoint! The staff are amazing and so are the foods. They offer a decent variety and quality isn't compromised. Would definitely recommend. If you are ordering a take away main course then do check explicitly whether complimentary rice/naan is provided along with it.

Absolutely delicious food. It was nice to try something a bit different. Staff were amazing. Happy to recommend dishes and highlighted the Nepalese specials. We tried the recommended dishes and were all delighted. So tasty and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Will definitely visit again if we’re in Belfast.

Bites of India I have been two times there and had punjabi and south Indian food with starter. Taste was good compair to other Indian restaurant in belfast. Average cost per person for that would be £15. Pros: 1. Good taste 2. Location 3. Seating Arrangement Cons: 1. Quite Costly 2. Slow Service 3. More Vegetables than Curry in main course 4. Less Quantity

Friendly service and flavourful dishes. Both curries were delicous. The lamb on the bone was in particular one of the best curries I have had in the UK. Would be my regular curry house if I was a local.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. I visited Kathmandu Kitchen twice during my stay in Belfast and I never felt disappointed. I was able to try a variety of dishes such as Momo, Naan, Himalayan Curry, Saag ra Paneer, Matter Paneer, Rogan Josh, Egg Fried Rice… everything tasted amazing. The staff was very accommodating as they made sure the dishes would fit our taste. Thank you for hosting us, I will never forget you!

The names of the items in the menu should be re-written because what you will get is totally different from what you would expect! Very disappointing that an Indian owner and Indian chef(though 2nd generation) delivers such rubbish food in the name of indian cuisine!

Lovely place, nice food (especially the dosas) very reasonably priced with generous portion sizes. Attentive but not overbearing service. Easy to book online and in a great location in Belfast.

Very attentive staff every time we go - in particular Shyam is so welcoming. Such delicious food. Especially the Dal Bhat! And of course mo mo too.

Bites of India Botanic in Belfast offers a cozy dining experience with delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. Some diners may find the portion sizes to be on the smaller side, requiring the need to order additional rice or bread. Despite this, the restaurant's attentive staff and welcoming atmosphere make it a lovely spot to savor Indian flavors in Belfast, making Bites of India Botanic a great choice for those craving authentic Indian cuisine.

A bite of India in Belfast. Stuck to a vegetarian fare so can't comment on the non vegetarian dishes. In fact I sampled only the South Indian dishes. Samosas were great and so was the idli. Medu wadas were a bit chewy, not crisp pretty much below par. Dosa was alright. The chutneys and sambar were decent. So was the complimentary papad . Slightly priced on the higher side but alright. They have some discounts running most of the times as well .

Dosa is the best available, Sambhar is must try, i tried Dosa and momos. Momos sauce were not spicy at all. But service was lovely. Clean and hygienic with lots of of options not too long wait. Washroom available here, check video below for ambience.

We had chicken biryani, lamb biryani palak paneer and naan garlic. All are delicious. So glad to find this halal restaurant quite close to the Queens university. They give 10% discount when you pay cash.

As an Asian family we have fairly high standards as a result, the food here was absolutely spot on. Good, friendly staff in a cosy setting, our family of 12 had a great meal and at an excellent cost considering the location. Will 100% return.

Stale momos, oily panipuri, overly spicy mysore masala dosa! The wait time was too much and we had to remind them to get each ordered item!
