A great church which was used for a music event. Three acts performed in the church. It sounded perfect and the setting made the performance even more impressive.

A wonderful Anglican church, and home to the Down the Rabbit Hole Cafe, a non-profit enterprise which supports autistic and neurodivergent people.

This church is a very special one due to its community of people that attend it. The Sunday service is always a time where you can feel the peace and the positive energy that is transmitted through the minsters and shared with the group. After the service there is a social time, where people share a hot drink and prepare for the informal service, where mostly people from international communities attend and experience the service in a different way and have the chance to discuss the scripture as well. Furthermore, there are a lot of events happening in the church, such as fairs, music concerts, support events for refugees and asylum seekers, so I highly reccomend this place.

The wonderful sounds of the Northern String Quartet were perfect in the beautiful setting of the Minster but not as many candles and no alcohol this time.

I received an invitation from Sunderland uni as I’m part of the alumni to a carol service followed by mulled wine and mince pies. It was very enjoyable although very cold in the minster.

Very welcoming and Church goers went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Good choir. Not High Church but still delivering a meaningful service. Strong focus on COVID19 prevention. Communion wafers delivered to your side plate! Coffee and tea served afterwards.

The venue was a bit cold and they needed to put in extra seats. An interval would have been good as the performance was only 1 hour.
