My first Glastonbury experience was in 1997. I never had a chance to go back until 2016. Both of these years were very muddy but it was still a great experience. However, 3rd time lucky this time round 2017 forecast is looking good so I am well excited to be going back here again.

Just think how many of the greatest bands in the world have played here the “fist me Jesus” flag has to be an all time favourite, best enjoyed ankle deep in mud with a few pints of cider!

One of the most iconic stages in the world, and it doesn't disappoint. The state has hosted music legends for over 50 years, and if you've never been to the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, then you should try. It's hard to imagine the size of the festival until you've seen it for yourself. The most amazing performance of the festival is from the Eavis family and the team of people who pull this together...it's an amazing effort! It's always best to get to the stage early for any big performances. A little way up the hill is an excellent place to go if you're not dead set on being at the very front. The views are good, and the sound is too. You can also go right up the back of the hill, but the acoustics can get a bit of a percussion echo depending on various factors.

Love it, not always the best performances to be found but a great place to get together with friends. The centre of the site and where the big acts go. An iconic stage for any act to play on and it can really launch a career to the next level.

Iconic. Gradual rake all the way to the back makes for a good viewing experience everywhere.

During and after the festival, I got to help clean up the rubbish in, on and around this stage. The area is enormous! Stage is an impressive platform for the artists, with the view of thousands of faces looking your way oddly un-daunting. A smaller crowd when you can make out individuals is a tougher gig in my opinion. But this looks like a sea rippling with energy that would welcome any artist.

First time at Glastonbury, Pyramid stage has incredible acoustics and great views depending on which side of the flag you fall on. Screens are wide, colours for Elton John's last UK gig were insane. Artic Monkeys set was audibly excellent and if you were interested in the mood they wanted to convey, the Pyramid held incredibly well. Guns and Roses were also mad, I think we must have seen the best gig in terms of effort they have done in a long time. Shame there was a mic issue., Not sure if you can blame that on the stage etc, maybe the sound engineers. All the other bands we saw there were also great, plenty of toilets, maybe needs some fencing to allow people to access the centre sections without having to walk over anyone. Like a fast pass to the centre, All in all, good stage, good festival! 120,000 capacity for Elton's show. Bangin'

One of my favourite places on Earth. I have spent some of the best times of my life in front of this stage!
