This is a working cattle farm, with all the noises and smells you would expect. I loved it!! The owners are friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and well maintained, especially as they are attached to the cowshed! Many small sites have poorly maintained facilities, not this one. Very impressed. The site is 10 minutes from Wells and close to Wookey Hole. Other places worth visiting are an easy day trip - Cheddar Gorge, Bath and Bristol - as well as a vineyard within walking distance. The hardstanding pitches are well spaced with electric hookup available. There is also a good sized grass area. I had a lovely relaxing stay and will definitely again.

Barbara is lovely. Facilities very clean. Lovely calves and the line of white ducks roaming around. Didn’t partake of the showers but would have liked hot water for hand washing in the toilet. Compromised by using the washing up sink which did have hot water. As I have two dogs it would have been nice to have a little enclosed grass area as when I was there the lane was flooded and very muddy although there is a dog shower when you got back. Lovely and quiet, lovely area and so handy for Wells, Cheddar, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet.

What a super little camp site between Wells and Glastonbury, I think it's Barbara that greeted me. Lovely lady. I visited a friend staying at the site who had a lovely stay and said how peaceful it is. And it was peaceful when I got there. Me and my friend had a lovely relaxing afternoon. I'd recommend a visit if your passing by or wanting to pitch up for a couple of days if visiting Wells or Glastonbury her in good old Somerset.

Beautiful quiet little campsite on a farm. Elec hookup. Showers & toilets clean. The family that run the campsite are super friendly. 13 mins walk to the Pheasant pub. Would definitely go back again to this campsite

Visiting again this year. Friendly owners, lovely site with clean toilets and showers. Stunning views, wonderful location. Wonderful relaxing campsite, we had electric hookup, which was great. Very good price. We can't recommend enough. Looking forward to our next visit.

this was our first visit, only for a couple of nights and we thoroughly enjoyed it, peaceful farm site, clean facilities and made to feel very welcome from the owner Barbara. Easy flat walk into Wells, just over 2 miles. Great market on the Saturday, and we visited the Bishops Palace & Gardens. Dogs are welcome, just be aware that the ducks & hen wander around freely but the best bit for me was the 'maternity' wing, the fenced off paddock in the main field that was home to the pregnant and nursing cows, a beautiful gray calf was born whilst we were there. They are quite friendly & I had my first coffee of the day sat on the bench next to them in the early morning sun - just bliss. We would definitely return, thank you Barbara & Andrew

👍👍 Just spent a lovely weekend at this lovely campsite. Stayed on the electric hook up side (good for the camp fridge and charging). Toilets are of the compost type, and there is plenty of fresh drinking water, no showers though, so we took a camp shower bag. The goats are cute and it was good to get t...
