Had such a great time! Sam and doug were great, as were the alpacas! 🦙 even got lucky enough to see the owl that lives in one of the shelters. Will definitely be back 😀

Booked as a Birthday present for my goddaughter for something different and we were not disappointed. Doug and Sam are both warm and welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge, and my goddaughter certainly put that to the test with the amount of questions she asked! Their alpaca family are very well cared for and every consideration is taken to ensure they are happy. The level of respect, care and love Doug and Sam show all their alpacas and llamas is inspirational. We were honoured to be able to walk Henry and Chewi who were both very well behaved. One of the highlight was being able to feed your alpaca at the riverside on our walk and then the lovely surprise of being able to enter the female alpaca enclosure to meet the rest of Doug’s and Sam’s family. The experience from beginning to end was wonderful and made so by Sam and Doug’s enthusiasm. It is clear they both enjoy sharing their knowledge to enable people to have a better understanding of these wonderful animals. I would recommend this experience to anyone and encourage you to book up and meet Sam, Doug and the family. It was a pleasure to spend time with them all and feel others should not miss out on this hidden gem. Do not think about it, just do it, as it is a must on the bucket list for everyone and children and adults alike will have the best time. Sam and Doug thank you from us all for the great day we had and it was one to treasure. My goddaughter is already talking about coming back! Take care and thank you for a wonderful day!

Had the pleasure of experiencing Teesdale Alpaca Trekking yesterday. Sam & Doug were wonderful…they very kindly squeezed us in for a walk with the gorgeous Alpacas. Their wealth of knowledge was amazing and they were both such lovely people. The Alpacas were so cute, friendly and obviously so well cared for and loved by Doug & Sam. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon 😊 xx

Just the most delightful, relaxing experience. We were a family of five booked at very short notice, age range 12 to 70+ and we were all smitten! We were so well prepared for our hands-on turn by Sam and Doug which removed any apprehensions and ensured our lovely alpacas could be as comfortable with us as we were with them. This experience is also the best value for money around. Thank you Sam and Doug for sharing your knowledge and love for your animals with us.

Really enjoyable time for our daughters 21st birthday. What a great guy you are Doug! Your passion and the way you treat the Alpaca’s was fantastic to see. They are in good hands. Special mention to Quartz for looking after me during the walk - we all loved the experience and would highly recommend. Best wishes, John, Natalie, Talia, Lily and Oliver!

Highly recommended outing. We had a very friendly welcome, great introduction to the alpacas and llamas, fantastic trek to the river where we fed them and then back to the farm. Sam and Doug are so knowledgeable and obviously love their animals. Thank you both for a great morning with you and your gorgeous alpacas and llamas.

Had a lovely time this afternoon at Teesdale Alpacas, highly recommend a walk with their lovely alpacas. It's clear they are all well loved and cared for and Doug and Sam gave us a really warm welcome with an excellent introduction before our walk. The area around the farm is beautiful as well, would definitely go again!
