This is a real gem of a find for all who like alpacas. Lovely setting with many alpacas to choose from with each one having the most individual character. We had Merlin for our walk and found him very charming with an alert character who became friends once he got to know you. The walk up to the Upper Bush hamlet and into the woods was wonderful, also never knew this place existed with old grade 11 listed buildings around you. There are many Alpacas to choose from for your walk and you certainly won't be disappointed. Jon the owner has done an excellent job here with his team and the animals are so content and bouncy and always inquisitive. The paddocks were very clean and kept tidy thanks to two Duke Of Edinburgh volunteers. There is also an on-site shop, plenty of sanitizing stations and an on site w.c. finally we adopted an alpaca as we fell in love with this particular one but won't mention his name as we don't want to give favourites as they are all lovely.

Nestled in the heart of the Cuxton countryside, Lower Bush Alpaca Farm is a hidden gem that is sure to delight visitors of all ages. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by a friendly and welcoming owner as well as a herd of friendly and curious alpacas who are eager to meet you. The owner was amazingly engaging with us as well as with my toddler, at whom he aimed the entire welcome speech, which really made my son feel like an important part of the group. The farm offers a variety of experiences, including guided tours, alpaca walks, and even alpaca picnics. I had the pleasure of having an alpaca picnic, and I was absolutely blown away by the knowledge and passion of the tour guide. He shared all sorts of interesting facts about alpacas and chatted with us about the future plans for the place, as well as engaging in conversation about other outside activities and interests. We were left feeling he was a really nice stand-up kind of guy. The highlight of my picnic was definitely the alpacas eating carrots with us. Overall, I had an amazing time at Lower Bush Alpaca Farm. It was a truly unique and enjoyable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique day out.

I was given an Alpaca walking experience for two people as a birthday gift. Not something I would have thought of doing myself, a real suprise! Located in a beautiful valley near Cuxton, arrived on a sunny morning and greeted by the owner. We were all met with a very warm welcome and started with a get to know about Alpacas and each of the individual animals personalities after which we chose one for our walk. Led through through the fields and woods nearby by the owner John and his young assistant. She was a real credit to them, very polite, friendly and knowledable. My mum and I had a truly enjoyable experience and I would recommnded this to any animal lover as an excellent gift.

What an amazing experience to do on a a Sunday morning surrounded by alpacas. I could not recommend Lower Bush Alpaca more highly, the staff are wonderful and take great care for the alpacas - better known as ‘ the boys’. Our personal favourite was Ben J! An ideal morning walk through the forest/ greenery is the perfect activity to do with family or with friends. 🦙

Such a lovely experience. The alpacas are clearly very loved and well looked after. Everything was explained before the walk. They don't rush you through the walk, we took our time. Plenty of stops for the alpacas to eat grass and leaves. Had a fab time and would highly recommend. Everyone was so nice and lovely. Thank you.
