I have a very mixed review of houseshare heros -I rented a room for 1 year, of that I spent 3 months with a leak over my bed. During this time I tried to get hold of the company and landlord who were both impossible to contact. Not only this, when I explained the issues the landlord was not held accountable for their behaviour. Since leaving I was contacted by one of the managers about my experience who was lovely and spent time to understand the issues I faced. My advice when renting with houseshare heros is to ensure that they manage the maintenance of the property because the communication between the team and their landlords is lacking. I hope my comments will be considered moving forward so that no more tenants have to go through my struggles.

From the application, to the move, all the way through to leaving, houseshare heroes have been the most efficient and empathic people I have ever had the pleasure of renting through. They are so warm and welcoming and genuinely care about you settling into their properties and throughout your stay - it’s so clear how much pride they take in their work - Danny was so helpful when I had a problem and went above and beyond to help sort my issues out straight away without any hesitation. He could have quite easily have left it until a day or two days later but knew that it was upsetting me and immediately helped me out in such a professional and friendly manner. E.g driving me between a couple of locations multiple times because he knew I couldn’t drive to sort things out. Other (bigger) companies would not go out of their way like this. I wish I could have taken them on my move! Thanks so much all of you 😊

All I can tell , I was moving from London , I needed a immediate place in derby within very short notice, I got lucky to find The advertising on spare room and was connected with Mark , Mark was very professional and very helpful to show me the rooms online , which was really convenient for me . Later on Charlotte from the office looked after all the documentation and yeah she was really quick and very helpful , Without the help from both of them , I would have hard time finding a place with that short notice. I sorted out my room within the span of few days. All done virtually . Five star all the way .

Great company, great properties to rent maintained at a very high level and the maintenance Guy Camron is so helpful and prompt it's amazing !!

From start to finish i cannot say any improvements to the service. Mark who took me to view the properties x3 could not do enough, was on hand at stupid times out of work hours (sorry about that) to answer questions as this is my first place, was friendly professional and down to earth. Charlotte processed and made sure all i's were dotted and T's crossed and was friendly helpful and supportive with this move. The property is highly maintained as all of them are, easy to contact for maintenance but not needed to date, good housemates and all abide by rules clearly set out. Thanks for a pleasant experience much appreciated

Just wanna say Houseshare Heroes is the best letting agents I've ever come across with, they are always lenient and always willing to help you with your problems ASAP as a tenant. Much better than other agents such as Nicholas Humpries who are the WORST in Derby. Good staff communication aswell particularly Kat who was very patient with me and was very understanding when it came to my problems as a tenant and Mark for being attentive and helpful in my first few days as a tenant in the property. The maintenance staff (forgot his name) was also friendly and fixed my shower problem asap. As a tenant Houseshare Heroes is the best I've come across. Would recommend especially to students.

Room renting went fast and without any issues. Mark is very helpful and supportive! I told him what I’m looking for and he showed me many great properties. The room I’ve chosen is amazing - I decided to rent it on Wednesday and moved in on Saturday without any problems! Highly recommend this letting agency :)
