I've met Heather on a few occasions and it's obvious she is very dedicated to her business and passionate about helping her customers - whether they are looking for fabrics and accessories, needing alterations, wanting to learn to sew or use their own machine in s more effective way. Her shop is filled with gorgeous things and is well worth a visit to see what services and items are available.

This is a great local shop for fabrics, alterations and commissioned pieces. There's always a warm welcome, whether you're looking for something in particular, just wanting a browse round, or need some sewing help. Heather is proficient and very knowledgeable. She has bags of experience, and does her utmost to make sure that the customer gets exactly what they want, and at a reasonable price. There are regular workshops, and even sewing machine service/repair! I would highly recommend Heather, she's a great teacher, passionate about her craft and gives sensible advise. - you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic service. Dropped an item off for a difficult repair in early afternoon. Met by Heather who was polite, friendly and Covid aware. Got a call the next morning to say item was fixed and ready for collection! Absolutely brilliant service and would give more stars if I were able to! Local business at it's best.
