This one of the worst shop when it comes to the brand works. It’s run by an incompetent manager (Arran) who thinks it’s safe to run the shop without having any security and having untrained staffs at the stores. This guy also gives off weird vibes as I know many boys who applied to work for the store but he only ever hires females. Not one of his store employee is a male. After blaming all the wrong doings on them in order to look good to the higher ups. Supporting a store such as this is just against human morality.

Visited the works yesterday shop staff were pleasant directed to the 3 for £15 for Christmas presents for some family members due to money tight at Christmas manager Arran was very understanding and understood my worries great store to visit lovely staff. Allan

Me and my daughters had gone to the works to pick up some new school accessories and toys when I managed to go to the tills to pay with cash as I did not have my bank card at hand they dismissed us and told me to pay by card otherwise I could not have the items my daughter was historical and I was left disappointed as I needed them items for university studies.

This isn't my local store but staff are polite and friendly. It has AirCon too. Staff seem proactive, ensuring items are kept clean and tidy. Stock is well maintained and has a wide selection too. Would definitely visit again

You can get most gifts from the Works for all ages both girl and boy, man and woman. I like the fact that the staff go out of their way to accommodate you and give you that special service. There is a good selection of books I found a set on how to produce creative handwriting. The range also came with the writing paper need to write on. The pens and brushes were even on sale. They offer a bonus card, I always forget this, but you have up onto 90 days to collect these points. I always pass by this shop. There is always something on interest in these shops.

I had the worst shopping experience today. My daughter bought to christmas presents totalling £22.00. My daughter used her student discount. 10% discounts should be £2.20 of the total but the till only put it through as £1.00. So we queried that the till was incorrect. The cashier said there is nothing i can do. Her supervisor said the same thing. I asked what is 10% of £22.00 is the both members of staff said that they didnt know and i was shocked at their ignorance. Both were very unhelpful and one very rude who told me to shut up. I gave items back and asked for a full refund. 😡

Great choice and good prices. Visited today and got noteworthy service from Baz ( visiting from Wood Green branch) brilliant attitude, friendly, proactive and helpful. And I was so impressed at how thoughtful he was to a colleague. A really positive face of the brand. .

Great shop, good value though prices have gone up. Cut back on certain things but still a good range. Strange though in that prices online seem to be less than instore so check what you're buying before hand .
