Forest are my team so naturally I'm going to give it five stars. Seriously though, how many other football grounds can boast a commanding view over the river? This is what you might class as a traditional football ground with four differently styled stands and it will be an even greater spectacle once the new main stand gets rebuilt and the Bridgford End is two-tier right the way across.

Loved this away day. Obviously the result helped. But my review ignores this and focuses only on the match day experience and stadium facilities. The stadium is a 20-30 minute walk from the station. It’s set in the tranquil and pretty surroundings of the River Trent. By and large, the staff and supporters are friendly. The programme sellers don’t accept card payment but a local newsagent shop sells them and you can pay by card. The away stand food options were limited but not too bad. The seat was fine. The view was good. We were allowed to stand. The home fans sit above the away fans which I don’t like. The atmosphere in the stadium is impressive. Overall, a great stadium steeped in history. An easy 5 stars.

Decent old football ground but, like so many others, a pretty poor experience for away fans (only compensated for by winning)! To get to the visitors entrance gates one is sent on a major detour around the houses (literally). And when we entered the ground we found ourselves in the back row of the stand (Z) from which viewing the game is a bit like watching through a letterbox.

This is a great football stadium to visit as an away fan and another ticked off my list. A very good atmosphere. My only criticism would be that the concourse under the stands isn't the widest but getting served at the kiosks was fine. Its well signposted on the approach to the ground and I found a school ( Nottingham Emmanuel ) a little way out that opens for parking on a matchday for £5.00, you can walk the Trent from there to the ground which is about 15 minutes. Make sure you return to your car promptly after the game as they only stay open for an hour after full time.....

Brilliant to watch Foest Women against Derby County. Forest were really unlucky to lose today. Good view from the Brian Clough stand lower. Over 6000 in attendance, so it was the highest ever attendance for Forest women.

Good ground, great club shop, plenty of stalls to eat before the game , and a good DJ playing outside the club shop. Away fans have a bit of a trek to get to their gates, one in plenty of bars and toilets. Nowhere on the concourse to dispose of bottles and cups, so littered the floors.. Toilets run out of paper towels, so go in before the game starts and make sure you get a few for later. Stewards are oblivious to people taking beer in to watch the game, so get a bottle to drink and celebrate in style when your team scores.
