Lovely place which has everything you need. There is a beachside walk which they are improving with better pedestrian bridges and boardwalks with lovely planting. Also some small interesting metal work of ships and planes created by a local Banksy ;)

Being new to the area I visited Stonehaven Harbour for the first time a few weeks ago. The harbour has a cafe and pub as well as food places. There are also public toilets as well. The harbour itself has a sand area so you can still go down and explore next to the seafront. Near some cliffs the view around the area is stunning.

Visited Stonehaven Harbour it was a sunny day and it was very enjoyable. It is a beautiful place and very well looked after. It caters very well for visitors with free parking and plenty restaurants pubs, coffee shops and places to sit and enjoy the scenery. Was planning to do a bit of fishing off the pier to catch dinner but thought better off it as there was a sign saying no fishing lines across the inlet of the harbour even though I could fish in another direction I didn't want to worry the boats where the line ends up. Had a lovely steak instead 😋 Thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Stonehaven Harbour highly recommend to visit.

We went for the new years eve Stonehaven Fireballs which in short was amazing, be sure to wrap up warm and arrive early ie around 9.00 in the evening if you want a good vantage point. A well organised and good humoured event, stay a couple of days we'll worth exploring the area.

A very serene beach adorned with old buildings and boats. The town itself is peaceful and welcoming. I enjoyed Peparoni cheese while walking the harbor. At this time the seagulls seemed to travel as their activities were not noticed and that gave me the confidence to eat my meal unguarded. I noticed that because there was no quak quak sound around the market street and beachfront. Please if you want a peaceful walk around Aberdeenshire, come to Stonehaven beachfront and harbor.

Wow! Friendly and clean, no litter found. Do explore the boardwalk and it's great sea related sculptures.

Great to be back after a while not visiting. Brilliant weather made the day. A brisk walk around the esplanade and roond the square then out to Dunotter Woods for a walk in amongst the trails and trees. Beautiful simply the best 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Nice place, many interesting boats😁 Sometimes you can find there also kiosk with seafood and lobsters. Not far from this pace is also museum and some nice pubs. In the evening you can get a pint of beer and go out to take a look of lights from Harbour🥰

Too many people wanting to die of lung cancer who think cigarette butts are organic waste. Walk to Co Op for a beverage and find the view in the third picture... your best bet unless you like £7 pints, douchebags, and screaming kids. Scenery: 5 All else: 1

Picturesque harbour, free parking with several places to eat within walking distance. Small calm sandy beach inside the harbour walls with activity centre and cafés nearby. Definitely worth a visit

Don’t forget to pay a visit if you’re touring the east coast. Nice working harbour and some really fun metal sculptures along the promenade which I unfortunately didn’t get pics of. I couldn’t find the wood fuelled sauna that was sign posted in a few places. I would have liked to try that.

Hard to get excited about a harbour, especially on a blowy, chilly weekend. The boardwalk is good though with some great model ships/sculptures along the way. Would like to come back for the paddle boarding sometime. Looks a good place for it.

Great experience. Quaint little fishing harbor, The Bay Fish and Chips down on the beach front. Friendly people, rich history with beautiful views of the village and the North Sea.

Beautiful! Peaceful too. There's the coastal walk to Dunnottar Castle with views all around. We also accidentally stumbled upon the world's first deep fried Mars Bar chippie! 💕

Absolutely beautiful 😍 I visited here with a friend in late September and stayed in a flat overlooking the harbour. The weather was sunny so we walked along the seafront and watched a surfer, plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by. There's a pub in the harbour but I didn't get the chance to call in .... maybe next time 😉

A stunning location. We approached down the steep cliff in our vehicle, one way so safe. The harbour was a picture of old fashioned, traditional harbour. Great coffee at the bakery on the quay and a. Super fish dish on the harbour wall from the Seafood Bothy. Don't miss it if you love tradition.

👍 I've lived here over twenty years but rarely venture round the woods for the last 19 (some paths aren't crutch-friendly)🧑‍🦯 very scenic woods, clearly very popular too. Just a shame all dog walkers don't keep their dogs leashed though, as I have animal-loving friends who are terrified when medium...
