We were gifted a voucher for the distillery experience and what a smashing day we had, sampling all the spirits and making our own rum. Very educational and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great lunch in the bar. I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back to sample some of the beers next time!

They have a selection of gin and rum that make a splendid but unusual Christmas presents that I'm sure my friends will enjoy. So much nicer than something from a big retail chain

This place has a social hubbub about it. The bar area, seating and distillery equipment makes for a wonderful setting. There's a great range of drinks to be tried and it felt to me to like the place has a really good ‘vibe’. If you prefer the drone of Sky sports TV, or shouty people in confined spaces and dead cheap beer you'll wanna give this place a miss. ;-) Castletown feels like the kind of bar you accidentally come across, then suggest to your pals that they should try it out.

What a brilliant gem of a pub! The owners are so nice & nothing is enough trouble. We’ve just had our sons 21st birthday & what a day to remember! They made a real fuss of him & the drinks selection is great! Nice & cosy but modern in atmosphere. Fresh pizzas which are amazing & it’s also pet friendly! Can’t recommend it enough…go check it out you won’t be disappointed.

A hard to find place, nestled down a side alley. A great real Ale bar; soft leather seating, warm lighting, and a relaxed atmosphere. Young's London Stout, poured with a thick trickle, and went down well.

Love this bar! The staff are incredibly friendly, the drinks are nice and reasonably priced, there's something for everyone. Very chilled atmosphere. Would love to try one of their distillery sessions at some point.

The staff at The Castle Distillery were very efficient and they had great customer service throughout the evening. I would highly recommend their customer service and their variety of beverages!!
