We came later in the season for the bigger and more popular games, but this was perfect! We experienced the real Scottish traditions without the huge crowds.

Had an AWESOME day, even tho the weather wasn't great. A really well run even in a great location. Loved the pipe bands. Stayed all day to watch everything!

As a tourist, the Highland games were quite interesting, offering a variety of sport competitions, from relay races (all ages) to hammer throwing and tug-of-war. There are also competitive bagpipes playing from the region and traditional dancing. Cost of entry was £8 per adult person and £2 parking.

A really good day out. Lots of different activities going on in the one arena. Something for everyone.
