My husband Donald and I cannot thank Fiona, Holly and the rest of the team at The Harbour Chapel enough for ensuring we had the wedding day we’d always imagined. We both fell in love with the venue immediately, it most certainly has the wow factor and is just stunning inside. The attention to detail is exceptional. In the lead up to the wedding Fiona & Holly’s continual guidance meant we felt in very safe hands. In addition to answering any adhoc queries we had via phone or email, regular contact was also maintained. No request was too much and we really felt everyone at The Harbour Chapel went above and beyond to make sure our day was just perfect. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and commented on just how fantastic the venue was and how smoothly everything ran. We would highly recommend The Harbour Chapel to anyone looking for somewhere for their special day. It will always hold some very special memories for us and we will be back in the future! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I cannot believe I am writing a review post wedding! It feels like only a few days ago that we met Fiona at the Harbour Chapel and decided that this was where we wanted to have our special day. My husband is from Dunbar and I am from Inverness, and like tradition would dictate, as the bride our original plans for our wedding were to get married in my hometown. However, out of curiosity my (now) husband and I went to visit the Harbour Chapel on one of its open days. The decor and the atmosphere was so unique. The care to keep historical elements of the building prominent in the decor as well as the addition of tasteful modern finishings throughout the building created such a welcoming and tranquil ambience. And the stained glass windows were just absolutely stunning, so much so in fact, that the colours inspired the 5 different colours of my bridesmaids dresses! But it wasn't until I met Fiona that I knew for certain that this was the place for us. Fiona was so welcoming and reassuring and instantly made me feel at ease. As a Primary school teacher whose life is planning and organising on a daily basis I can sometimes go into overdrive when it comes to planning other aspects of my life! I was instantly drawn to the Harbour Chapel wedding package offers as it not only made the planning much more simple to navigate, it also meant that Fiona and her team were there to support my husband and I the entire time, and in turn took so much of the weight of planning and stress off my shoulders. Something we are both extremely grateful for! We chose The Good Food Table catering company, Dionne from Morris Jones photography and Pixie Rose florisists, all local companies to Dunbar who offered package deals with the Harbour Chapel. The communication between all parties ensured that our wedding day ran smoothly with the food, flowers and photos all perfect! I cannot recommend the Harbour Chapel highly enough, the venue, the staff and the location itself allowed for us to have a truly fantastic wedding day that all of our guests have been raving about since. Thank you again to everyone who made our wedding the truly special day it was. Kit and Sam

A fantastic venue with amazing service. We recently ran a fund raiser at the harbour chapel and couldn’t have had a better time. Fiona and the team were super helpful, made sure we had a plan for the evening, were flexible with ideas and kept everything flowing on the night. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue for an occasion then please head to The Harbour Chapel, you won’t be disappointed.

Genuinely not sure where to start with the Harbour Chapel. We booked the Harbour Chapel over a year and a half ago with Fiona, when we both fell in LOVE with the venue, it's really breathtaking when you step inside, with its stained glass windows and vibrant colours (inside and out). But it's the level of detail! every inch of it is stunning and intricate. Throughout the year Fiona answered every email, answered any call, no question was too big or small. Fiona even called suppliers for me if I had any problems and let my family visit as many times as they wanted to see the venue again. The costings are unbelievably reasonable compared to other venues we viewed. And most importantly we really trusted Fiona, the Harbour Chapel does not feel like a corporate wedding in any shape or form, every step is treated with so much care, and every couple is made to feel very special. We originally had a separate wedding venue for our evening reception and this fell through, and Fiona was straight to the rescue and helped sort our catering and band to organise the wedding to be the full day, I felt like we were in such safe hands as she reassured me about the day, (we had originally very big guest numbers, but we had around 90 guests on the day and the chapel was more than enough room - huge dancefloor!). In the weeks leading up, there were prep meetings and calls, Fiona even accommodated us to have a short rehearsal. It felt like she was just as excited as we were! I am quite an anxious person, but on the day I just knew the chapel had everything in hand, so those weeks and the morning before the wedding was a relaxed experience. When I arrived at the Chapel on the day, Fiona helped me out of the wedding car and gave me some breathing exercises to calm me down! (very needed). And then we had the best day of our lives. Our ceremony was flawless, every piece of personal decor I wanted was all perfectly laid out for guests to see, the harbour provided the most stunning backdrop to our wedding photos (and because it's so close we were hardly away), our drinks reception had a wonderful ambience and it was lovely everyone was all in the one room chatting, and I got so many compliments for the canapes (Fiona had some set aside for us). The chapel is then transformed into the most unique dining venue I've ever seen, the speeches felt so intimate with all our guests and yet momentous thanks to the beautiful historic pulpit! No one has wedding speech photos like we do! I've not even got started on the food!! Kris and her team blew us away, someone told me it was one of the best chicken dishes they ever had!! The pizza in the evening was even second to none. The meal felt like a fine dining experience. My elderly aunt and my pregnant bridesmaid both told me separately that they had been treated like "VIPs" all day, by Fiona and her staff. There were cushions for them on the seats for the whole day. Every member of the team was so welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The chapel then became the ultimate party, huge dance floor, plenty of seating, and a quick bar, the acoustics provided an amazing sound for the live band we had. Even into the night Fiona and her team made us feel special, grabbing drinks for us, nothing was too much. And Fiona had all our important documents and gifts organised for us leaving. I genuinely get emotional writing this, as I can't believe how lucky we were to have stumbled upon the harbour chapel. Everyone has been commenting on the beauty of the venue, the kindness of its staff, and the excellence of the food. The venue has so much heart, and I think the Harbour Chapel is a place we'll both miss and hold very dear. We'll always remember it and our truly wonderful day, we'll never be able to thank Fiona and her team enough. Everyone deserves a wedding venue as special as the Harbour Chapel

An easy five stars. We could write an essay on what a perfect venue it was for us. Attempting a summary: Fiona and her team are both warm and efficient- if you are wavering on anything, just put your trust in Fiona and you won’t go wrong. In terms of planning she was key with ideas and liaison, and worth every penny of what she charges. On the day we were so well looked after, with a real understanding of what we needed (to breathe, to consume caffeine, to see how beautiful the dinner set up was) all day. We never had any regrets from the first time we met Fiona, and have really enjoyed her company, her humour and admired her real skill with people throughout. A quick postscript- we are an all female line up, and for those looking for info on this, this was easy and welcoming- no clangers, no uncomfortable moments at all. Post post script - we used Chris at the Good Table and it was incredibly tasty, with one guest writing in our wedding book it was the best sticky toffee pudding they had ever had. Way to upstage us! And we had Rachel and Dominic who were both lovely and lovely to listen to - also lots of great comments from our guests. Our flowers were Purple Petal, and really beautiful, pulling together a bit of a broad theme from us. It was just wonderful, in a wonderful town.

While not from Dunbar, we couldn't have stumbled upon a better venue and one that was more right for us! Dunbar is a wonderfully sunny micro-climate with stunning picture-perfect costal views. The harbour chapel itself truly is an amazing venue, both in beauty and the absolutely fantastic team. The chapel is surround by a wonderful community too, who are a massive support to your wedding or event. We tried to stay local for the majority of our suppliers, one of our better decisions! We couldn't recommend them enough, especially Morris-Jones photography and Gina from Fuze Ceremonies who worked like a charm together. Fiona, who runs the chapel, helped guide us every step of the way, ensuring that we picked what was right for us and accommodating the weird and wonderful requests. It is impossible to show how organised Fiona is, the day ran like clockwork, taking all the stress from me and my wife so that we could enjoy the day with our family and friends. We really didn't have to worry about anything! We cannot thank her enough for this. Hiring The Harbour Chapel, you get more than a venue, something more than words can describe, something more than a day to remember. Thank you again to Fiona and her wonderful team!

There is something quite magical about the Harbour Chapel. It is simply beautiful. We didn't know quite what we wanted when we decided to elope but when I saw this venue online I knew it was the one for us. We had a private and elegant ceremony in the most beautiful of places. Fiona and her colleagues were incredibly helpful and made sure we were completely at ease on the day. Nothing was too much bother and they even acted as our witnesses! Thank you again for a wonderful day. I will always think fondly of the Harbour Chapel and the people who have made it so special.
