This campsite is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia. We stayed on the adult only section of this site and it is evident that care is taken in keeping it pristine. However, on arrival I was given an illegible map of Llanrwst and a barrier code; no other information about the site. I had to ask how to find my pitch as it was evident I wasn't going to be shown to it and had no information on how to find it. I would describe the customer service experience as "matter of fact" without any facts! - a point off the review score for this. Whilst other reviewers talk about a friendly and informative welcome we did not experience this. During our stay no one visited us from the site and we could not find any information about the surrounding area. As we had already planned what we were doing this did not concern us. There is one ammenity block which is located at one end of the site. As we always use our own facilities I cannot comment on them. However, as some pitches are sited a long way from this, and as we were pitched close by, we noticed that several people drove their cars to use the facilities and dump their rubbish. Early in the morning this was annoying at times, particularly when they drove at high speed - so another point off for this. In summary it was just an odd experience in terms of customer service; not unpleasant as such but just odd - maybe we caught them on a bad day!

Brilliant place to stay, our port in the storm after arriving in North wales only to find most sites are caravan club. This one has different section, one for club, adults only and touring so we were welcomed by the lovely owner, given tips on where we would be able to get food locally so late. Peaceful and beautiful here and a great area fenced off to exercise the dogs which they loved after mostly being a lead for a week. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit North Wales

Arrived on Saturday for a weeks holiday during the half term. Only the CL site open, but what a hidden gem of a place. Well laid out fully serviced pitches in a beautiful mature rural setting. Spotlessly clean and only a short walk to the village. Pubs, restaurants and shops satisfy most peoples needs + the site is an ideal base for those who wish to get out site seeing. I would highly recommend this site to anyone and we will definitely call in again.

Lovely quiet CL site in winter. Great walks around the area directly from the site. Beryl was very helpful. Pitches are fully serviced which is a must now. All nice & level and wide entrance making setting up a doddle. 20p a shower the only bug bear but that’s just a personal thing. Will definitely return.

Fabulous caravan park one of the best we have been to grounds well kept showers and toilets immaculate and very peaceful, we will definitely return.

We stayed on the adults only Parc Derwen section of this caravan site. The site is very easy to find and the instructions nice and clear from the main A470 route. You approach the site up a lovely drive that is very well gardened with lamp standards and flower beds and this sets the tone for the whole place which is absolutely beautiful and so well kept and maintained. There was a warm welcome at reception and your pitch has a sign board with your name on, together with a rubber door mat. The pitches are large, perfectly flat and levelest pitch we have ever been on. Each pitch has a water tap on the bollard (2 I think, but water is not my job!) and also its own drainage hole on the pitch. It is a short walk into the town which has a large co-op, Spar and Londis. Most unusually our car never moved for the whole holiday since we used the local train station and the local buses: not overly frequent but perfectly adequate if you plan ahead. The shower block was always spotless and appearing as though just cleaned, even thought it doesn't close for cleaning (unlike some we could mention). The showers, like many, are just push button with no heat adjustment. I like a hot shower and often find these set too cool - not so here the temperature was just right for me: however there has to be one but about this site: one of the showers allows only 8 seconds on the push button. I defy anyone to shower in 8 seconds and on park where everything appears perfect this is the fly in the ointment. One of the other showers allows 17 seconds, not overly generous when the average time for even a shortish shower is 4 minutes. The bins and recycling facilities were never overflowing and always seemed just emptied. This site was an absolute delight to stay at and perfectly placed for getting around north Wales. We would definitely look to stay here again if visiting this area.

Lovely clean site and shower blocks. Not much to do in the area unless you like walking. Market day consisted of a fruit and veg stall, plant stall and mat stall.

Absolutely brilliant caravan park. We'll thought out layout. Beautiful shrubs all round. Staff are fantastic. My only niggle was the showers. No individual cubicles with all facilities and the showers in place you had to keep pushing the button which made it difficult to wash your hair.
