Absolutely loved this place. Communication before and after arrival was great! Even though we arrived when it snowed and was nippy outside, the room was toasty and bed is comfortable! There was also the garden room that we could go and socialise by a fireplace on the sofa. It was so so nice! We woke up had delicious breakfast (with eggs from their own hens) and enjoyed the gorgeous view! We then went to Alton towers and it was a 3 minute drive. Its a fantastic location 😁 Will definitely come back!

We stayed here as a family so we could visit Alton Towers during the day. This place turned out to be the highlight as things didn't work out well for us at Alton Towers. The owners are very nice, very welcoming, and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable, and the little patio out front was lovely. We especially enjoyed wandering the grounds after breakfast in the morning.

Family of 4, stayed end of June 2022 for 3 nights. What an amazing B&B, the rooms (family suite) were perfect for us with bunk beds in a separate room and a larger main room with space for a living area with sofa and TV. We received a friendly welcome from Liz, who is a wonderful host. The rooms were ready for us when we arrived and were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. The location is beautiful and we wished we stayed longer to explore the local area. We visited Alton Towers and it's only a short walk across a field and over a fence or a very quick drive up the road. We walked the first day and drove the second as it was easier to take the car with two little ones and a pram. I'd highly recommend Chained Oak B&B and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic place ! Owners are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. We took a toddler and they could not have done more for us. Great location for Alton Towers would 100% stay again

Thank you so much Lizzie for making our stay so perfect. We loved the chained oak b&b cabin.My husband and I stayed here for a mini autumnal get-away (child free mini honeymoon). We stayed in the beautiful wood cabin, which had everything we needed. The cabin was so warm and cosy, and beautifully clean with lovely decor. Outside there was a bbq and firepit where we cooked sausages and marshmallows, whilst enjoying a beer (or two). We were extra warm with the amazing smoking jackets provided. The walks in the local area take you through so much history and natural beauty. We walked the Saltersford Circular walk on a crisp but sunny day. We returned to enjoy the delights of the local Londis (check it out!) And a few pints at The Talbot and White Hart. Lizzie is such a lovely host, made us feel very at home. The breakfasts are delicious, and lots of variety to choose from. We loved hearing about Lizzie and her family who sound like they are the kind of people who make the most of life! We are very much looking forward to staying again. With all the fires it's possible to stay here all year round and be at one with Nature.

Another absolutely fantastic stay at the chained oak farm. Rooms are cosy and spotlessly clean. The English breakfast is delicious.

Friendly welcome, great breakfast, ideal location for surrounding attractions (not just Alton Towers).

Had a night away in the cabin...wow what an amazing place...from start to finish was the perfect gataway...liz was the perfect host...we will be returning very soon..thank you so much for everything
