Kenya Retreat. Superb from start to finish. Accommodation outstanding. Beautiful safari lodge with view out over the plains to Kilimanjaro. Sunrise yoga, pool yoga, massage techniques, Laurie was excellent and so generous with her time and expertise. Even a bit of synchronised swimming thrown in! Game drives daily were a real highlight. Just amazing to see these animals in their natural environment. Food at the lodge super delicious and healthy. Everything home made/home grown. And presented with flair. Like dining at one of the best restaurants every day. Staff at the lodge excellent and super friendly. All in all a very special trip x

I had the pleasure of spending a day with Laurie at one of her full day retreats and it was such a wonderful time, I can't recommend Curativate highly enough! Laurie is so encouraging and such a kind and peaceful person to spend a day with. I left very inspired to continue my practice and so I'll definitely be back to beautiful Crail and Curativate soon. Thank you Laurie! ☺️

I booked a private floating yoga session with Laurie. Fantastic lesson, I really enjoyed the extra challenge of balancing on the floating board. Laurie built the lesson around me and what I wanted to gain from the session. She is a great teacher and really supported me in the lesson.

I joined the Blue Mind retreat last weekend with Laurie. We were a group of 6 participants and such a great group of people. This was my first time in Crail and it is a perfect spot for yoga and retreating. Laurie was wholly welcoming from the moment I arrived. Laurie (&her family) welcomed us all into her beautiful home at the start of each day. Laurie was flexible with her schedule according to weather and kept us updated on any tweaks. The studio within Laurie’s garden is a great space full of light with a supply of props etc (and a loo!) and looks onto the landscaped garden. We went on a different coastal walk each day and I particularly enjoyed how Laurie incorporated the surroundings into the teaching. Yoga was either in the studio or on the beach and included sea swim or paddling - Laurie also supported me greatly in the sea to enjoy it as I can’t swim and am a beginner learner. Laurie’s yoga and meditation teaching was of great value to me and it is obvious how much attention Laurie has given to preparing for sessions. Lunch is provided both days on this retreat and the food is outstanding- fresh local produce. . Again Laurie puts her heart into the menu on offer and this is served in the kitchen of her home - everyone enjoyed every course. I also joined the beach yoga class on Sunday morning. Again this was a great practice with the sound of the waves and luckily for us with the sun on our faces. I left my weekend feeling nourished in many ways and with insights to help me understand myself more. I highly recommend Laurie’s classes and retreat. I’ve booked to return. Can’t wait!

I recently attended the two day Blue Mind Retreat in Crail and I can’t recommend it enough! Laurie is a wonderful, warm, intuitive and very knowledgable facilitator which made for a very therapeutic and restorative two days. She provided just the right balance of activities, including lots of restorative gentle yoga in her lovely studio, mindful walks along the beautiful coastal paths to gorgeous beaches for some more yoga, followed by amazing swims in the sea. This was interlaced with beautiful homemade 3 course lunches made from local produce where we enjoyed the fun and company of others on the retreat. But Laurie herself is what made it most worthwhile through the way she gently imparts her vast knowledge throughout the two days in a gentle intuitive way. I will be returning !

My second time in Crail and my second time attending beach yoga with Laurie and it just gets better. The beach setting is simply stunning. Closing your eyes you hear the tide lapping on the sand and the small birds chirping in the trees behind. Turning your face skyward you feel the warmth of the early morning sun and feel the occasional puffs of the sea breeze coming over the harbour wall. Laurie is an incredible human & yoga teacher, her warm welcome puts you at ease and her clear gentle tone coupled with easy to follow demonstrations and the way she is able to put the "why" into the practice for me makes beach yoga the most incredible lasting experience. I would highly recommend the Saturday morning double session, with the first session focusing on breath work, this sets you up nicely for the more movement in the second session.

I tried Yoga many years ago. It was a crowded class and there was no one to one participation. I joined Laurie's classes about a year ago. She offered garden yoga and also classes in her studio which is beautiful and overlooks her garden. Laurie is a stimulating and talented teacher. She really cares about what she does. I was able to understand and participate in the benefits of yoga. She also does a popular beach yoga class which has so many benefits and is followed by a swim in the sea. Her retreats are extremely popular because she offers a relaxing and mindful experience with accommodation and local food to enjoy.

The weekend spent in Crail at Curative was completely energising. Laurie and Magnus made the stay so special. There was wonderful yoga on the beach, a bespoke meditation, and the opportunity to paddle board. To be met with warmth and gratitude in every interaction throughout the stay is truly unique and so valued. The studio is beautiful and all amenities are high quality. It’s a great place to stay. The night quiet contrasting with the active days made for a special occasion I’ll always remember with such deep fondness. Thank you Laurie and Magnus.
