Great Loch, well worth taking one home for dinner too as they don't have the muddy taste. Very relaxed and informal. Loads of fish and as its crystal clear you can see them, so ideal for working out which fly to use which is great for me as I'm quite a novice, John the owner is always happy to help, advise and can even loan kit. Open all year round aswell!

Fantastic fishery. Definitely we'll worth a visit. The wild life and scenery is flawless. The fishing is superb. Dry fly and various flies catch many. John the owner is a fab guy. Good banter etc. Pitch a tent for a night. Great price for staying over night and a days fishing. Give it a go.

Very peaceful place to Fly Fish how it should be.

Excellent short walk but beware of times from fishermen are about. It is one way in and one way out with limited parking.. It is a beautiful reservoir.

First visit to the golden Loch today and what a great place. Beautiful surroundings and first class facilities. Made to feel welcome by owner and enjoyed the fishing and surroundings even though I didn't manage to land a fish. Will be back soon.

Went today with my daughter the owner was really friendly and helpful and the place is lovely and quiet we got 4 fish , will definitely be back
