We had a 2 day spearfishing course. We liked it. the place Newquay is great.Oliver our instuctor give us a good taste what spearfishing is. Also what I liked is that he is very friendly and keen on safety because at the end it is a danger sport. I can only say go there you will have a great experience.

I have just completed my AIDA 1 & 2 course with Freedive UK and cannot recommend them highly enough! Oli has spent the last few weeks helping me select and source the right kit (though all is provided on the course, I simply chose to purchase mine off the bat) and has been on hand with any questions I have had. Before booking the course, I had a good chat with Ian on the phone about my main concerns and he instantly put my mind at ease and explained the discipline well. The team are very kind and knowledgeable all round, and over the two day course, Ian helped me to achieve and beat my freediving goals. He took time with each student to address and coach their issues and strengths and made us all feel very comfortable and safe. He even came to pick me up from my home when I had car trouble on day 2! If you are considering freediving, foraging, or spearfishing this is a fantastic choice. I can't wait for Level 3!

Had an awesome time. I went to get my AIDA 1 & AIDA 2 They guided me through the process and made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout the process. Super friendly, great team.

Me and my partner did the foraging course with Oli. We learned about sea weed, foraged some herbs then went diving for crabs and lobster. We had a great time, if you would like to try underwater foraging I highly recommend this trip!

Friendly and supportive team based at the new home for Freediving in Newquay. Central location close to the Lighthouse cinema, and a shop packed full of equipment. Ollie in particular has been really helpful with my development into the world of freediving and spearfishing. 121 sessions around Equalisation have been really progressive for me.

Amazing experience doing the 2 day spearfishing course coached by Oli! There were 3 of us in class and all with varying natural skill levels. Oli made the experience feel safe and enjoyable for each of us through customising certain parts of the course. By the end of the 2 days we were all confident enough to attempt spearfishing in the ocean 🙌🏼 Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Great couple of days doing AIDA 1&2, big thanks and respect to Ollie for all his knowledge, guidance and encouragement to explore and push ourselves as we got the hang of things. Can’t be an easy sport to teach at times but he made it an effortless process as we overcame our individual difficulties to hit the pass marks!
